Southern Front

The lost of the forward position along the Roccioro river was grim news for the Hyrukians. Though they were assured that the move to fall back to the Marro river and it’s defensive line was the most sensible option, Montagu could not help but wonder if it was war exhaustion that might be starting to fatigue their allies.

Montagu sent a message to the Princess Regent, advising her to ensure that the morale of the Caraintese remained stable in face of Renato and the retreat from the Roccioro. Satisfied in her efforts, Montagu turned her focus back the 2nd Expeditionary Amy’s advancement along the Allettan River.

Central Front

Earll and Buckett meanwhile, having aided Montagu, turned north to support the Caraintese 14th and 15th Regiments on recapturing Caraintese lands that had fallen to the Hantuonians. Earll’s brigade lead the assault as they clawed towards the old border. Buckett as before moves to keep her troops at the southwest line of attack against the Hantuonians.

Point Collo

Captain Hayes and her battalion launched their campaign, staying close to the river as they marched south, leaving behind a smaller squadron to hold the point while the rest carried out they precision scaled strikes.

Northern Sea

While Prime Minister Leal had preferred to have gotten more out deal in order to support the Buvarians, Princess Alice of Gosataborg had a great deal of connections to the aristocracy of Great Hyruke and thus the unaristocratic Leal had been bombarded with pushed to aid the Borean fleets and send the enemy to the icy depths of the Northern Sea.

Placed under the command of Leonora Brisley, the fleet carrier the Courageous was joined by the battleships Lion and Barbary, the cruisers Wattingham, Hayes, the Beresford veteran of the Southern War recently restored and refitted with newer guns, the corvettes Connaught, Duchy and Wexford. The Northern fleet as Brisley’s command had been dubbed entered the Northern Sea from the west, sailing to meet up with the Gosataborgians.

Central Front

The waters of the Genzorga were turned an unsettling burgundy color as blood and debris and the other refuse of war stained its current. Hundreds of men had lost their lives on the banks of the night river as the two nations had fought, the Caraintese determined to defend their the Motherland.

Along the Marro lines they faired better, having given themselves breathing room in their unpopular move. Fearful of how the public might react to the image of the shifting frontline particularly after the attack on Renato, the Princess Regent had taken control of the papers and radio systems, censoring anything that might reflect poorly, and spinning it to enflame a sense of cultural fear, the great Scourage of the East was the monster mothers warned their children about and fathers signed up to fight.

Air defense systems, anti-air autocannons and ground to air artillery were being bought by the tons as Caraintos bought arms from Great Hyruke and the Celestial Empire. They were placed in the old fortifications of cities in order to create a net of defense. As countless guns and bullets arrived so too did radio and siren towers rise over cities.

Back at the front the 14th and 15th Regiments, eager to have the support of their Hyrukian sisters, launched a full scale counter offensive against the the enemy. War photographers snapped shots of the 14th Regiment’s armored tank division rolling through the decimated forests, and as they fired on the enemy in rapid bombardments, filling the sky with smoke and fire.

North Front

The 10th and 11th Regiments continued their mission with the Raudoyan friends, and despite heavy causalities in the former were able to reach the hills and the source of the river. With this mission goal reached, Hayard and his men guarded the light artillery of the 3rd Regiment as they completed their trek through the marches.

Meanwhile the 7th and 8th regiment made slow progress as they directed the push of the southern arm of the pincher. Along the front infantry units erected large stone anti-tank barriers, and miles of barbed wire. The 5th Regiment and ATA unit, thwarted in their encirclement , launched a new assault , shifting south to push the Hantuonians back across the Genzorga.

North Front

The last ten weeks had seen silence on the frontlines, but they had not been idle weeks as instead King Ottokar and his generals had carefully prepared new offensive plans to best take advantage of their continued success across the north of Hantounia while at home more soldiers were recruited into the military. Securing supply lines and the logistics of maintaining the army groups as they pulled more and more of the enemy's lands under their command. With the native railroads and electricity grids intentionally and intensively destroyed by Horvath's Army, new simple track roads were implemented and scouts were sent on secret missions ahead behind enemy lines to clear paths. Generators supplied the Raudoyans while they were also well-issued winter clothing as the weather grew colder. Amongst these reconnaissance missions, the Raudoyans employed teams of cartographers who returned with detailed maps of the Northern section of the enemy nation.

Back at home, the factories of Raudoya had been churning out garments and parts at an alarming rate. Basing designs off of the Patuanian tanks, and Colficoan planes, they began manufacturing of their own versions, the new OJ-1 main battle tank, named after the king of the Raudoyans' initials, and the long-range strategic bomber called the Kladivo, the Hammer. While the production of OJ-1s had proven to be very efficient, with a hundred of the new mechanized units produced in just ten weeks, the same could not be said of the Kladivo, which had only managed to produce 19. As the tanks were rolled out with the newly formed Army Group G, placed under the command of General Lubomir Kolar and sent south to aid the Caraintese and Army Groups A&B, the Kladivo were tested as they were sent on nighttime reconnaissance flights, taking note of key bombing targets.

Also from the factories, along with Leal's countless balloons came anti-aircraft auto cannons and light artillery units which were place with new artillery recruit units in an overlapping grid in order to protect the nation from attacks from above. The military-industrial complex had in a matter of months provided thousands of new jobs and sparked a sense of national pride never seen before in the nation. The Military itself also continued expanding into new branches of mechanics, engineers, cooks, surveyors, cartographers, intelligence, and medical staff numbers skyrocketing as the securing of more and more information was seen as the key to winning the conflict. Almost these new branches, seeing the rise of rebels in Hantounia and the work of the Colficoan crown princess was a new propaganda sector that regularly disseminated messages calling for the Hantounians to rise up and overthrow Nathan Krotzka, painting him as a monstrous tyrant living a life of luxury far beyond that of the everyday man.

Meanwhile, the Tur Company, having all but disappeared from the radar of the enemy as they moved stealthily through the countryside raced in a blitz to the northeast to meet with a section of Horvath's rearguard as it moved south. Army Group C continued southward on their campaign of attack in detail, encircling and then destroying their opponents. Army Group D, having pushed the Hantounians back, despite high casualties now was ferried across the Strait of Hagena and landed in Buvaria to further aid their ally while from the south side of the strait a continuous bombardment was launched on the positions of the enemy. All the while Horvath push his mechanized forces south to the Rhetten River, as the Raudoyans dubbed it, and went to work of securing it as their forward defensive line, moving along its northern bank and eliminating all crossing points.

Krpska

The skies above Hantuonia were dark, even in the day not even a sliver of sunshine could break through the smog that filled the sky, the smell of blood and steel filled the noses of every Hantuonian. The rebels sat in the alleyways of Krpska, the second largest city within the nation, the rebels, with Leoz-17 pistols in hand and Molotovs in the other, decided to strike. The pops of gunshots filled the air as the rebels attacked a patrol of soldiers guarding the second residence of Nathan Krotzka, the leader of the Hantuonian Empire. The imperial guards were quickly overrun, the force of 40-50 rebels being too much to be fought back against by the 10 guards located outside of the Krotzka residence, this is beginning of an uprising, the first move in the Hantuonian Civil War.

New Bozia
(Dialogue Translated)
“Vletz! (General!)” Vostok yelled, crashing into the conference room that the military generals of the Hantuonian Imperial Army was discussing tactics and new approaches to the war.

“Voselknet? (Soldier?)”

“Ledza Krotzka Krpska Muloz Azleotz! (Leader Krotzka’s Residence in Krpska is under attack!” Vostok gasped.

The general sat up, he muttered curses under his breath, then would prepare to make communications with the city hall.

Point Callo

Beatrice Hayes and her soldiers had been hunkering down along the river valley, slowly spreading out and securing it small section of the Hantuonian landscape. Hayes had overseen the setup of a reliable supply line for her regiment, more soldiers gradually arriving with arms, food and medical supplies as part of the campaign of subterfuge against the Krotzka regime. This was completed with the use of an increasing fleet of transport and attack helicopters that made stealth trips through the night as Hayes moved her women to the river intersection and then turned north, following it upstream.

Southern Front

Montagu had taken the various months since the frontline had stilled to over see intensive training of the soldiers as they prepared to launch a new summer offensive. Seeing that the approach along the Allettan river would not be the most ideal plain, shifted her campaign and sent the 2nd Expeditionary Army to move to the northeast at a lighting pace, the armored division leading the way.

Londres, Great Hyruke

"Madam Prime Minister," Barbara Leal said as she hurried into the office of the prime minister and her cousin, a stack of preliminary reports from Hantuonia in her hands.

Leal, the prime minister, looked up from her desk. There was perhaps a bit of nepotism that had led to Barbara achieving her position, certainly in her having gotten her first post as an aide to Ambassador Blackthorn, but after a year at the elderly diplomat's side, she had proven herself adequate in serving as an aid. Leal set down her pen.

"What is it Barb?"

"These are some reports from informants in regards to the ongoing war in Hantounia," Barbara said, setting the reports down in front of Leal. "It seems that there has been an uprising in Eastern Hantuonia."

"Hmm." Leal tapped her chin. "That is interesting. Lets see if we can make use of them."

Krpska and the Province of Laverotzi

The rebels, formally naming themselves the "Hantuonian Republic", had now taken control over a majority of Krpska and the province surrounding it, they took it over with ease due to the lack of towns with high population in the province of Laverotzi, grasslands were all that surrounded Krpska. With the Hantuonian Republic now controlling approximately 12-thousand square miles in land, the Hantuonian Imperial Army was now being deployed into Laverotzi, the attacks only previously taken care of by local law enforcement. About 1 thousand Imperial Infantrymen were stationed in the province, the Second Hantuonian Civil war was surely to be far bloodier than the first. With the rebels now salvaging old military equipment used in the Kakozian War, such as old Hantuonian weaponry like the LZ-19 (Similar to the KG M/40) and the "Lepard B14 Armored Vehicle" (Similar to the AEC Armored Car).

The Western Front

The Summer was soon beginning, the 127 thousand Imperial Infantrymen on the western front were preparing for the worst, the armies of the Grand Alliance must be planning on an offensive soon, which must mean for casualties, and the beginning of the civil war was a morale crippler, the Imperial Army of Hantuonia hoped that the civil war would end soon, because if it does not, then the Hantuonians would lose the war, and more importantly, their Empire.

Northern (Raudoyan) Front

The Imperial Army of Hantuonia was lining up several thousand infantrymen to mount a small offensive in the eastern part of the front, they were planning to take back the shore to have an easier way to either get more soldiers into Buvaria, or easily evacuate the soldiers fighting in Buvaria to get them back fighting in Raudoya. Another thousand troops prepared to mount and offensive in the western part of the front, this was the last chance of winning over the Northern Front, with civil war and lack of stability in Hantuonia, the war was not looking great.

Vallo, Caraintos

Princess Regent Tasa could practically taste victory on the horizon. She had just received report from Great Hyruke that Hantuonia had, in the midst of their war against the Grand Alliance and the Borean League, embroiled themselves in a civil war. Which was great news for the Princess Regent. They seemed like they were going to shatter themselves before she ever got the chance to properly tear them apart. Which would make doing so that much easier. The Princess Regent could sense that they could very well go in for the kill.

Central Front

Chief in the Princess Regent's ambitious plans were the 14th and 15th Regiments, replenished and refueled, they launched a full scale attack to retake the eastern lands of Caraintos that had been occupied for several months too long. The heavy armored tank units of the 14th Regiment lead the way, while the 15th Regiment tookn a secondary role, moving to the east so it could bounce back and forth, supporting the Hyrukian expeditionary army and the 14th Regiment. Meanwhile the Caraintese held their positions along the largely stagnate front line, though the number of camps on the west bank of the Gonzaga grew and grew, seeming to swell as false camps were place to present to the enemy an army twice its size. Meanwhile in truth the 4th Regiment, it too replenished and renewed, moved southwards through friendly territory, far from the frontlines.

Northern Front

The 10th and 11th Regiments, under the veteran command of Hayard, restarted their salient push along the river, taking the south bank as they moved along their every long trek to meet up with their Borean allies.

To the Hantuonian Republic

Greetings, to whom it may concern,

Should you be successful in your endeavor in liberating your nation from the tyranny of Nathan Krotzka, it is of great interest to many as to wonder what your intentions would be to address Krotzka's and his predecessor's aggressive militaristic foreign policy? Shall you be continuing in its execution or shall you adopt a more amiable path?

From,
Great Constable Cayle Granes

Krpska | 2:19 P.M.

Nathan Krotzka, the dictator that plagued Hantuonia was killed in the town of Lafi, the killers were several soldiers from the Hantuonian Republic that shot him dead as he was being escorted through the Laverotzi grasslands back into the Hantuonian Empire's territory. The Empire of Hantuonia has crumpled, the east has been won over, and the Hantuonian Republic has risen. Without Krotzka's iron fist to execute those who refuse to obey him, soldiers slowly surrender their weapons, and the fronts slowly fall.

This is the end of the largest and most deadly war in Meillurs history, and the end of the Hantuonian Empire.
Long Live Hantuonia.
