Protests turn voilent

The Zarnicovian Novan economy even after the AZNUP tried to fix it by passing multiple economic reform bills has continued to collaspe. Massive alegations of corruption and the AZNUP and other political parties and militias in ZN's crackdown on LGBTQ+ people has resulted in the NLP and other mvoements to organize protests against AZNUP. These protests initially left alone were attacked by extremist militias and grew in number currently over 160,000 protesters in 14 cities are engaged in minor voilence with militias and the military. AZNUP has yet to admit the protests and has tried to shut down internet in many of these cities to prevent the spread of information which has failed, however most futher organizations of protests have been successfully cracked down on along with LGBTQ+ groups havealso been arrested by military and police units. The church has also excomunicated many membersof these protests.

AFAASA begins merger vote! New IHC alliance shows promise!

The Advocates for the Abolition and Against Slavery, or AFAASA, has finally begun holding the free and fair democratic vote to merge into the Global Confederation of Nations. Should this vote pass, not only would AFAASA become Alliance 14 of the GCN, but the Global Entente of Nations and Alliances would start off even stronger than expected. 14 Alliances would provide a lot of benefits, with policies from many of the currently acquired alliances, from ACI to AFAASA, alongside GCN policies being further built upon. KTO, the current rival to the GCN, would become more and more irrelevant should the GCN acquire this merger. However, with current attempts at peace, it is expected that the GCN and KTO might just so happen to start cooperating constructively rather than being aggressive in a cycle of endless war and rivalry.

In related news, a new alliance that is completely and truly neutral, known as the International Humanitarian Coalition, is one of the attempts of making peace between the GCN and KTO, serving as a completely diplomatic body. What makes the IHC more special is the fact that it is a completely humanitarian alliance that not only is independent from the GCN and/or the KTO, but also opposes ULIBOR for its denial of its somewhat aggressive tactics in the recent Slaver Crusade, which the GCN sees no real issue with due to the nations ULIBOR has fought against being purely slaver nations, the majority in which have been defeated already.

The benefits of the GCN-AFAASA merger revealed!

The Global Confederation of Nations and Advocates for Abolition and Against Slavery are on the path towards merging with one another, which has been rumored to drastically impact the very delegate balance of power by turning the upcoming Global Entente of Nations and Alliances into an alliance and World Assembly successor that is even more powerful than current GCN rivals, such as the KTO. What would make this possible? Well, it is time to start getting down to the usual brass tacks.

The merger would, in a way, not only strengthen the GCN or the GENA, and not only would expand anti-slavery operations around the globe, but would effectively redefine the current political atmosphere, creating the ultimate international power. This would be huge, especially with the ongoing Cold War against the KTO creating the New World Order, and alliances such as IHC being created to lead the entire international community away from the cold war, and more towards Post-War Reconstruction and peace. This would effectively mean that the bigger factions cooperate and work together for once, rather than being hostile to one another for extended periods of time.

• • • Ministry of International Communications • • • Fort Kalinka • Kalingrad City Under the executive notice, the People's Marshal's office calls out to the Global Confederation of Nations (GCN) and the Kalisight Treaty Organization (KTO) to sign a non-aggression pact (NAP) between both sides under the following demands: - The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will be released from the GCN's group of alliances. Allowing it to be refounded as an independent alliance. - Emperor Jackson, which oversaw the war crimes on Galapagos and being possibly the motivator, must stand on trial. - Advertisement of the GCN on new alliances must stop. Furthermore, it must not force other alliances to join them. - Muqaddasian Holy Land, along with Kuwait, and Egypt will be ceded between Galapagos, Janpia, and Great Oceania. Holy relics that are canonical to the Zarnicovian Christianity (The Church of Latter-Day Saints) will be taken. Suez will be under the control of the KTO. - Gonswanza will be given a plot of land in Iraq that is oil-rich along with access to the Persian Gulf and permissions to use the Strait of Hormuz freely, without being blocked off or denied access for free trade of oil and other goods from the region. - A procurement of 100 million dollars to be sent to pay for part of the damages caused by the GCN in the Middle Eastern War. Furthermore, the People's Marshal has stated to start a round of bilateral peace talks between founders, to ensure the best demands are met.

The Marajarbian Government makes a statement:

"The Marajarbian Federation, as well as the Global Confederation of Nations by extension, will only attend peace negotiations should some of the following demands, both for treaty negotiations and for the actual treaty, be met."

GCN Demands (Treaty):

1) Both sides sign a NAP.

2) KTO doesn’t intervene in any GCN Affairs (i.e, doesn’t prevent mergers with other alliances).

3) KTO completely pulls out of Muqaddasi soil.

4) Both sides pay war debt and contribute to reconstruction not just in Muqaddasia, but in Hidrandia and any other nation large or small affected by the entire conflict.

GCN Demands (Negotiations):

1)IHC, or the International Humanitarian Coalition, a third party, holds the negotiations.

2) Negotiations are hosted on completely neutral territory. Non-GCN, Non-KTO.

3) NAP is signed before or after the treaty, to make negotiations easier.

4) Only the mutually agreeable demands can be placed on the treaty, which will be written by representatives of the IHC and/or the host neutral nation.

5) No diplomat may leave the negotiations until something peaceful and cooperative can be agreed upon. This can range from a NAP to a well developed peace treaty.

Protests turn violent in Zaricoa. Crackdown ‘in progress’

Protesters gathered twice day ago here in Zaricoa at the national church. Over 500,000 showed up and broke through police lines and entered the building and according to police and AZNUP destroyed religious iconography inside the builds at the capitol. Multiple ‘first hand’ reports of ‘acts of god’ against the protesters have been spread by AZNUP. Furthermore AZNUP has suggested that Islamic and socialist extremists had used the breach of security to ‘compromise the situation’. AZNUP and the senate and further put forward measures in prevent such an event to occur. The church has also agreed and backed these measures. These includes the copying of Janpia’s requirement of party just this time it being that all individuals inside ZN for 10+ years must be babtised and go to church as a Zarnicovian Christian unless given special privileges. Such as Galapagosian Catholics. Other measures include crackdowns and arrests of suspected individuals related to the protests and other godless meetings against AZNUP and her policies and people.

Situation continues. Violence ‘increasing’ and ZSD senator speaks out ‘international and national condemnation will come’

Protests have continued even after the crackdown especially after AZNUP decided to arrest 2 senators who had nothing to do with the protests. Multiple in-nation NGOs and other groups along with some governors and now senators have condemned AZNUP’s course of action. Other 13,500 people have been arrested by police. Between 50-80 have been killed or injured. Protests however have not been very effective as a much larger counter-protest movement has met them with police going with cracking down on protests to preventing violence as local Zarnicovian churches organize local ‘AZNUP support rallies’ to counter liberal protests. In the senate 3 senators have spoken out saying that AZNUP‘s harsh reaction will more hurt them and the people around them more then what they will get. 16 governors have deployed to counter national troops many more to support however they came out to little. Most violence in major cities where most police were deployed have been quelled and most actions have returned to civil tho AZNUP controlled institutions such as the courts and senate.

Court ruling bans Trans people nationally

A while back just after AZNUP took control over the country after 1st pacific tanker war and the end of short lived absolute monarchy it abandoned all national LGBTQ protections and later that month a court ruling on the new law expanded it to allow states to take any measures on LGBTQ groups and peoples they wanted. With most of the states being controlled by the very conservative AZNUP or ZCP 187 out of the 234 took some action against LGBTQ with 101 of those being a full ban with most requiring them to either leave to state or go through ‘therapy’ 9 states made it a jailable offense.

However recently the AZNUP have furthered this policy with its new bill in response to a court hearing in the national court. It de facto gave protection to a man who killed a trans women after going in ‘shock’. AZNUP has backed this court ruling and expanded it to a national ban on Trans people requiring all people who identify as Trans to go through therapy also allowing states to expand on this policy. Minor court protests have changed nothing as counter-protesters have been successful in organizing for the church and AZNUP and allowing militias and the military to avoid direct confrontation with democratic and liberal protests.

GENA to pursue further expansion!

The upcoming Global Entente of Nations and Alliances, primarily created by the Marajarbian and Muqaddasi governments and is planned to be formed via recent and/or upcoming mergers, will make many moves to ensure a safe, orderly, and peaceful transition from the GCN-KTO Cold War to a legitimate beacon of peace and true World Assembly successor. With plans of further development by working together with the Kalisight Treaty Organization as well as acquiring multiple new alliances, the GENA will thrive and prosper.

With 14 Alliances, the GENA is more than ready to be created, but there are still plans to at least attempt to acquire at least one more large alliance before opening up the GENA for business, and it is rumored that there will be a vote held in the AFAASA to determine wether or not it will join the Global Confederation of Nations and allow for the creation of the GENA.

AFAASA is currently in a war against Ukraine, a recently discovered slave trader nation that is currently being dealt with. It is widely believed that after the war is over, no matter what happens, the AFAASA will still hopefully be around to be able to vote on either a merger or to dissolve itself peacefully. Time will have to tell.

14 Alliances Strong! A brief history of the GCN

The Global Confederation Of Nations is one of the biggest modern alliances in the world, with 14 alliances making up its ranks. There have been many trials and tribulations in creating the Global Confederation of Nations, but the end result was ultimately worth it.

The Global Confederation of Nations was set in stone ever since the aftermath of the Hun Chu War, in which friendly ties that became mergers took place between the International Defense Shield Force, United Alliance of Nations, and Defense Enforcement Alliance. This merger created the UDAF, which, like GENA, attempted to create a new world alongside other big powers. This ultimately failed as the PRS-UDAF conflict and all of its related events took place. This conflict resulted in the merger between UDAF and the Earth Alliance Organization, as well as the creation of the World Treaty Alliance and North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The World Treaty Alliance, IDSF, UAN, EAO, and Collective Pact then merged to form the big failure that was the Global Alliance, and those failures resulted in the creation of the United Federation.

The GA and UF fought, acquiring NATO, ICDN, and CTDD along the way, as well as building and laying the individual foundations for the rise of the GCN. The Marajarbian, Meretican, and Atlantican governments did most of the work when creating the GCN, implementing new policies and creating what is now the GCN Constitution, the unifying documentation that has tightly-knit all 14 alliances to this day and age.

Eventually, the GCN would fight, and even acquire, the Anti-Communist International, allowing it to become very strong. Soon, the rival known as the Kalisight Treaty Organization would rise in terms of mostly strength, fighting against the GCN in an anti-democratic manner. The KTO succeeded in some conflicts, usually by preventing mergers or starting to warmonger in crucial areas, such as the Middle East in Muqaddasi soil, to be precise. Nowadays multiple attempts at peace between both factions are being made, to try to calm down tensions and start a cooperative, mutually beneficial relationship.

Zarnicovia Nova fires upon Armenian troops!

Armenian blood has once more been spilled on foreign lands.

Earlier today, 31 May 2022, a contingent of Armenian peacekeepers in Bucharest were mercilessly fired upon by members of Zarnicovia Nova's air force; resulting in the deaths of ALL of them. Among those killed was Lieutenant General Yervant Ekmekjian, whom was most instrumental in Armenia's decision to join the Global Confederation Nations.

Zarnicovia Nova, a known member of the Kalsight Treaty Organization (and, until recently, the GCN), isn't exactly clean when it comes to human rights violations. In Muqaddasia, for example, they used biological weapons on their foes; which directly violates MANY international laws.

Though they were operating under the banner of the International Humanitarian Coalition, Prime Minister Arslan Simonyan calls upon the Global Confederation of Nations to condemn the actions of Zarnicovia Nova and her allies, the former of which responded with the following:

We would like to make our reasons for these actions clear:
1.Your peacekeepers were directly going against the mission and 2.your 'peacekeepers' are failing to hold the city and we fear for the cultural artifacts to be destroyed. Better in our hands then destroyed by the Reich. And for the Reich; Complete condemnation for their actions.

A statement on this sudden and brutal attack is to be made by King Hrach I later today (01 June 2022), which will be held at Stepanakert. Those expected to attend are Alen Mirzoyan, the Armenian representative to the GCN, and Hakob Sevan, President of the IHC.

Marajarbian Federation condemns Zarnicovian aggression in Europe!

After the shooting of IHC peacekeeping forces in Europe, the Marajarbian Government unanimously voted to condemn the nation that is Zarnicovia nova for violently killing non-combatants only looking to protect refugees harmed by the bloody, brutal, civil war in the midst of Civil War Season. Furthermore, the Marajarbian Government is calling for another Zarnicovian Novan Boycott, Disinvestment, and Sanctions document to take place, to ensure that the nations who trade with the Zarnicovians know and understand that the Zarnicovians themselves have soldiers outright violating every single damned convention out there, from the BWC to the Geneva Conventions, and have yet to be fully punished.

Let us not forget that this is not the first time that the Zarnicovians have done such atrocities, as it was in Tzatzikistan when Zarnicovian imperialism resulted in outright debt-trap diplomacy followed by international outrage. Let us not forget how the ZN BDS positively benefited a lot of international efforts to contain the large amount of civil war outbreaks every nation and alliance large and small had to deal with.
