Just a reminder that the next annual GCN conference will be made after the Global Senate elections. The 10th of April will be Election Day, meaning that the debates will end tomorrow, on April 9th.

A lot of the proposals in the debate thread that have been made are pretty decent enough to start revitalizing the GCN a bit. Especially with Trenaka and Sealand running and having decent ideas for the GCN and it’s future.

IDK. All I know is what they told me on Discord, and that is that they aren’t exactly interested in the GCN anymore.

I don’t precisely know or understand the how and why as to that, seeing as how GCN wouldn’t have existed without Meretica’s contributions, such as the creation of the United Federation. Or all the way back to last summer’s conflict with them, and all of the alliances that sprang up because of that conflict.

Regardless, I doubt that Meretica’s anti-GCN. Meretica contributed a lot, and I do mean a lot to the alliance. Especially inbetween September and January. If they are, I have no idea why, but they are.

Everyone, the debates will end today at around 4:30 PM EST, so that the elections can start tomorrow. I will write up a post on the World Parliament thread at around that time.

Like the two previous elections, there’s two votes, with candidates being able to vote once for themselves and once for another candidate. Voters that are not considered candidates will be able to vote for two of their most preferred candidates, so I recommend reading through the debate thread a little in case the choices are difficult to make.
