To a tourist arriving in port, South Americanastanian Angola seems like a stable, well-developed territory. Men and Women alike are treated equally, regardless of race, religion, or creed. The flag of the South Americanastanian African Authority flies from rooftops. However, the jungle tells a different story.

In the eastern and northern extremities of Angola, the Frente de Libertação de Angola (FLA) and Exército de Libertação Nacional (ELN) cross the Congolese and Zambian borders, raiding SADF positions and wreaking havoc among the civilian populace near the border. The only way out of Angola by land is down towards South Americanastanian Namibia, and into either Botswana or South Africa.

The South Americanastanian African Authority encompasses Cabinda, Angola, and Namibia

Since 1982, SAGMC, and now, SADF, forces have been fighting tooth and nail in Angola, first in support of the South Africans and UNITA, and then by themselves. By 1983, they had deployed 10,000 men to the country, and in 1984 they were reinforced by veteran units after ZIPRA and ZANLA had been cleared from Rhodesia. They fought the MPLA and the Cubans through the 80s and into the 90s, when in 1993 they purchased Namibia from South Africa. The purchase of Namibia provided them a base to transport supplies from and move north, culminating in 1996's Operation Killjoy, driving the MPLA out of Angola proper. UNITA couldn't handle it's newfound power, and collapsed in on itself in 1998, resulting in a South Americanastanian annexation in that same year. Along with the MPLA went SWAPO, securing Namibia once and for all, marking it as an eye of the storm in the hurricane of Southern Africa.

However, there is no peace to be found in Angola, as the FLA and ELN rise in the MPLA's place, and the UN Peacekeeping Mission has been crippled by ROE and an overly reactive commander. The war continues to this day, as SADF forces fend off ELN and FLA attacks, fighting for one of the last vestiges of colonial rule in Africa.

SOUTH AMERICANASTANIAN AFRICAN AUTHORITY (SAAA)

The South Americanastanian African Authority is in charge South Americanastan's African territories, and administers the region as an appointed government, with a locally elected advisory council. They control Namibia and Angola, with a joint capital arrangement between Windhoek and Luanda. The South Americanastanian African Police (SAAP) act as both the authority's national police force and are equipped to assist in defensive military operations, being armed by the SADF with military-grade weaponry, including some light armor such as MPAVs and ATCV 17s. They are heavily backed by the SADF, who maintain a presence of 100,000 soldiers in the territory, including 70,000 in Angola.

EXERCITO DE LIBERTACAO NACIONAL (ELN)

The Exercito de Libertacao Nacional (ELN), translating to "Army of National Liberation", is one of the two main insurgent groups involved in the Angolan Bush War, attacking Angola from the Democratic Republic of Congo. They reside in camps deep in the Congolese jungle in an attempt to hide from the DRC and SADF, using those camps to launch cross-border raids into Angola. Armed with AKMs and AK-74s, the group is heavily outgunned by the SADF, and finds it nearly impossible to hold land in Angola for long periods of time.

FRENTE DE LIBERTACAO DE ANGOLA (FLA)

The Frente de Libertacao de Angola (FLA], translating to "Front for the Liberation of Angola", is the other of the two main insurgent groups involved in the Angolan Bush War, attacking out of Zambia. Unlike the ELN, they enjoy support from the Zambian Government, and are currently working to build a small armored corps and air force to contest the SADF's equipment advantage. They are armed with FALs, G3s, and AKMs provided by the Zambian government, along with small amounts of PK Machine Guns. The Zambian Government provides the FLA with a safe haven for training new insurgents, along with covert support in the form of military advisors. The FLA controls a small amount of land in eastern Angola, and is by far the most aggressive of the two groups.

United Nations Mission in Angola (UNAMA)

The United Nations Mission in Angola is the UN Peacekeeping operation in Angola. Patrolling the northwestern border, they stand between the ELN and the oil fields of Cabinda, along with the heavily populated northwestern region. Made up of a variety of countries, UNAMA totals 6,000 soldiers as of November 13th, 2021. The mission is plagued by corruption and an overly reactive strategy, keeping it from being effective in it's mission to protect civilians. However, rumor has it that reinforcements are arriving, and with them, new commanders...

Plumes of smoke rose up from beyond Huijiaba in the distance. Commander Alioth Nara already knew what had happened. She'd received the reports mere minutes ago, by a exhausted rider that had immediately collapsed after reaching the hastily-built fortifications. Suining had fallen, after a brutal and arduous three-week siege. Hundreds of Bannermen lost, and even more civilians perished. She'd received word from scouts that the rebels had split into two large groups of five thousand each, almost as much as the Bannermen guarding this part of the Chengdu-Chongqing Fortifications.

Two armies. Two upcoming battles. She would think this would be one of the major battles to beat back the White Lotus. If they won, they'd be able to successfully rid Chongqing and Chengdu from being anywhere near the White Lotus. If they lost, they'd face certain defeat with the possible sieges of the two cities.

She sighed and walked back to the tent. The grueling battle could wait.

Commanding Tent

'I don't see why we should change anything in our army. The recent loss was just...a stroke of luck. Yes! The gods must have said it was not an auspicious time to battle. Just a fluke.' Always cocky, High Officer Lihong stated.

'As your superior officer, didn't you see how terribly we fought in the battle? It was a miracle that scout lasted so long to get here, in a normal situation, he would've been shot in the first few minutes! Anyways now, for our plan, they will most probably not attack Chengdu from the West, as the mountainous regions currently serve as a base for our gunsmen to shoot down. We still have sent two divisions to patrol the area.

The rebel army was seen amassing the bulk of their forces in Lezhi, and we suspect their next target...is us. We estimate it will take them two days, three at most to arrive here, so until then, I would order everyone to ramp up their military excercises. Remember. We must not let Chengdu fall. We must ensure the survival of the Qing.'

Commander Nara looked around after her speech, only to be met with a chorus of nods. As the officers shuffled out of the room, she went over to her desk, sat down and started writing a letter.

Outside the tent, formations were being made, and the fortifications were getting noisier and noisier with the sound of offiers shouting, continous extensions being made to the wall and various patrols coming and going.

February 3
Empire of Qing
Dongxizhen, Outskirts of Jiancheng

Tang Huan stared up at the impressive walls towering near him. It was mere metres away, on the other side of the Tuo River. These walls-he almost couldn't believe it had been built in mere weeks, it looked like a part of the Great Wall had been moved south. That could be it. After all, there was no knowing what the Red Lotus could do.

It was quite a pity it would have to be destroyed. After all, what was a stone wall to an army of five thousand armed with muskets and horses?

He could see the small fires lighting the walls in the distance. So far, they were concealed by the light hills and trees, but when they charged through the shallow river, they were most vulnerable to the shots by the Green Army. That was why his commander had told them to be fast, avoid the shots, and destroy the Red Lotus. The ladders were prepared, and muskets ready.

Steeling himself for death, he called out to what might be his final charge.

With sporadic musketfire and shouts of pain echoing all around them, the five thousand White Lotus soldiers charge towards the Jiancheng Wall.

February 3

Jiancheng Wall, East Side

The soldier collapsed, a multitude of arrows bursting into him. A Nest of Bees? Alioth Nara, looking from a watch-tower, was surprised. She once had thought the White Lotus would have acquired better weapons than this. But that was to be expected from such a lowly rebel group. The aim was quite surprising, though. That was almost the maximum range of a weapon of that kind, and yet the shot went directly into him.

Soon enough, causalties could be seen on both sides, with musket fires and early multistage rockets exploding midair. Nara walked down from the watchtower, and began to watch the 'firework' display first-hand.

February 4
Empire of Qing
Jianchengzhen

Bloodied soldiers lay unmoving on the banks and in the river Tuo, causing the it to bleed red. Cinereous vultures pecked at the ones that hadn't been moved aside, and small fires could be seen being extinguished along sections of the wall.

Amidst the corpses and the carnage, Commander Nara walked through the recently-trampled grounds, reading a detailed report written by the officers of the recent battle. Totalling 900 deaths, 400 injuries, and more than a hundred missing...quite the bloody battle. At least it wasn't as much of a Pyrrhic victory than the other battle at ...more than a thousand deaths and still climbing.

One of her officers shook her away from her thoughts. 'Commander, now that we have banished those lowly rebels from Chengdu, shall we send reinforcements towards Chongqing, or make a strike towards the den of the tigers?'

Nara thought for a moment, and replied,' We shall do the latter. Contact the rest of the ten towns surrounding the White Lotus...Chonqing, Zhangjiajie, Changde, Jingzhou, Jingmen, Xiangyang, Shiyan, Ankang, Hanzhong, Guangyan and Mianyang. We need a unified strike inwards, and reclaim the city of Yichang.'

Walking onwards, the officer was left to write down hasty orders and call the riders.

No more than fifteen minutes later, 30 riders left Chengdu for the other cities.

The meeting was in full swing. A letter had been recieved from the Spanish in the Philippines.

To: Imperial Household Department of the Great Qing Dynasty
From: Governor-General of the Captaincy-General of the Philippines

To whom it may concern,

I have dispatched an emissary of the Captaincy-General on behalf of the Empire of Spain to the capital of China to negotiate the possible opening of trade relations between our two empires. Please grant this emissary safe passage and an audience with the relevant government representative.

Prince Tulisen stated clearly,' Well, one thing's obvious. We have to let the emissary move on safely. We can't risk a war with Spain, not when we're still dealing with the Rebellion. The King has given me permission to let this emissary pass by, but I have to ask you if you have any questions or regrets.'

Head of the Privy Purse Nihan Cuyen replied, 'Prince Tulisen is right. This could also open up new legal markets for the traders, satiate their needs for less taxes, and improve our economy as a whole. Besides, the Huntsmen Department could have Spanish personnel trained in different specialities if all goes well, and couldn't the Imperial Buttery use some new meat?'

Although many of his fellow colleagues had opened themselves up fully to this Spanish emissary, the Head of the Huntsmen Department was skeptical. 'How do you not know if those Westerners are going to sneak spies into our jobs? Ah, yes, speaking about jobs, they should only be given to Manchu and Han people! Imagine if our citizens saw top jobs being taken by foreigners! We'd have another rebellion on our hands.'

Head of the Imperial Armoury Aisin Qiao was another supporter of this idea.' No, no. Just give the Westerners lowly jobs if they even do come here for work. Plus, we could really use some Western weaponry and improve ours. I've heard rumours those Western powers have better guns than ours now, and we might get invaded

Imperial Stable head Hu Manwan laughed at his close colleague's statement. 'That gives me an idea. Let's invite them here, and go through with the meeting, but first, we should treat them to a military excercise, full with cannons, cavalry, soldiers and all the bells and whistles! Show them the true might of the Qing!'

Tulisen replied to Manwan, saying, 'I'm going to have to red light that idea. Showing off our military could make us seem more hostile, more aggressive, and ruin possible relations. Let me think for a short moment.'

Five minutes later, Tulisen had made up his mind. 'I'm letting the emissary go through. They'll meet with me and the Viceroy of Zhili here at the Old Summer Palace. Now, onto the next important topic to discuss. Commander Nara, a frontliner of the White Lotus Rebellion who has led the Qing to several victories in the Rebellion, wants to talk about the matter of improving our weaponry.'

After an ardous day of meetings, Prince Tulisen wandered off to his own rooms in the Palace, and started drafting a letter to the Spanish.

We would be glad to host your emissary at our fine capital Peking. Trade relations between our nations should be set in stone, and we hope this could lead to further strengthening of relations between Spain and China. We have prepared lodgings for you at the Old Summer Palace, and a guide will be waiting for you once you arrive, and when you have settled in, she will lead you to the place of the meeting. You will be seeing the Viceroy of Zhili and me, Grand Chancellor Prince Tulisen. We hope you will find your stay relaxing.

Joyean Intervention in Lebanon

Waters Near the Palm Island Nature Reserve
'Soldiers, today we fight once more. A similar enemy to the ones our boys are fighting in Sri Lanka. A terrorist organization.

You should have known everything there is to know about Lebanon and Syria before we even set off. I will not be repeating. Today, our plan is simple. In around 30 minutes, we will be reaching Tripoli. No interacting with citizens. When we get there, I want us to be set off within an hour. We will travel the M1 to Homs. I expect there to be heavy resistance, so buckle up. Dismissed.'

'SIR YES SIR.'

1 hour later
And thus Operation Mina started. A total of 1,000 troops set foot on Lebanese land. 800 left for Homs, 200 stayed to establish a beachhead.

The 200 staying behind was mostly composed of labor battalions used to training in the NKB Chuechia Mine&Military Base, where you were almost forced to build endless amounts of structures, dismantle it, and rebuild it again. These battalions spread out around the District of Mina, where most of their operations would be held. They quickly commandeer the Mina Muncipality's government building, spreading out radars, computers, and start reinforcing the building with steel walls and gates. The soldiers try to reassure the citizens that no lasting effects will be done, and face the displacement wave by building temporary camps around and on top of the building itself.

In a press conference, Commander Michelle Mondells stated,' It is of utmost importance that we stop this displacement wave. Our soldiers will not cause lasting effects on Mina, and we are simply using this building for the duration of the war. We are not worried about secret terrorists trying to enter our 'safety camp', as there will be a series of examinations along with the Lebanese government about these people's identities. According to the planned schedule, NKB soldiers should cross the border of Syria in an hour, but I believe there will be short scuffles between the Hezbolla and our soldiers before then. This is all I have to report for now.'

10 minutes later, in the empty streets of Fnaidek
'It seems oddly quiet here'.

'It's because most of the citizens evacuated to coastal cities. Also, shut up, there may be enemies near-'

BLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAM

'ENEMIES SPOTTED. I REPEAT ENEMIES SPOTTED. ALL UNITS CONVERGE ON BARED RIVER SETTLEMENTS.'

As the 35 NKB soldiers currently near the JOUD CELLS cellphone store converged on the location, they could see Hezzbolla units darting around buildings. They seemed to be trying to enter the mosque. Was it armed? Mined? The NKB soldiers moved in a strict formation towards the mosque, scanning each and every one of the buildings. When they sent two men each to enter the buildings on either side of the mosque, they were starting to think-'ARGH! I'M DOWN-crunch'

Twenty Hezzbolla men, ten in each building, suddenly popped up like toast when it's done. Firing out the windows and the doors, NKB soldiers rushed behind the nearest buildings and returned fire.

'CALLING FOR R&M. CALLING FOR R&M. CALLING FOR-' The soldier yelled into his radio, then promptly fell to the floor with a bullet to the head. 10 NKB soldiers made a risky manouever, and aimed a grenade at the door of the left building. One shot.

BOOOOOOOM
The grenade exploded in the middle of the building. The gunfire ceased for a brief moment, and small yelps of anguish could be heard, until the firing resumed again. The 10 NKB soldiers that had entered the building gave the all-clear signal, and promptly fired at the Hezzbollah men aiming to rush for the mosque, killing all but two. Those two darted into the mosque, and the NKB soldiers promptly followed behind. Then, the captain held up a hand to stop. He aimed his gun at the ground ahead, and shot. Gunfire ricocheted off the asphalt, and explosions-one, two, three, kicked up smoke, sand and dust.

'Just as I thought. It's mine-'

The captain faltered in speech suddenly, and the NKB soldiers, temporarily blinded by the flying debris, were oblivious to the next move that followed.

Five suicide bombers jumped out of the mosque, firing wildly at the soldiers, and once they had wasted a cartridge of ammunition, promptly pressed the buttons on their suicide vests.

The resulting explosion was horrific. Immediately after the explosion, reinforcements arriving too late and soldiers positioned at the back saw a brutal scenes. The captain fell to the ground, with him and surrounding soldiers unrecognizable as a charred lump. The soldiers at the middle were writhing in pain with burns all over, and as the medics rushed over, more soldiers swarmed the mosque and entered.

'In our first battle with the Hezzbollah soldiers, we won, but we feel like it was not truly a victory. The Hezzbollah were hiding in the mosque, and used such undignified tactics as suicide attacks. The total death count is 10 dead, 15 seriously wounded, and 10 lightly to moderately wounded. The following is a rough guide to the Allanean forces that I wish to send:

1. Battalion Tactical Group Samum, Battalion Tactical Group Khamseen, Battalion Tactical Group Monsoon and Battalion Tactical Group Sucker Punch.

Each of these units will have approximately this equipment and personnel:
