The Global Alliance is a military alliance (de facto just an intergovernmental organization) that was formed as an alliance between alliances and attempts to succeed the World Assembly and actively attempts to promote international unity and stability. The organization was founded on September 18, 2021. It has two headquarters: One in Fort Mountwent, East Stal Saillnerce, and one in an undisclosed location in the nation of South Olpen.

Basically a crappy, work in progress OP, but you get the point.

Draft Three

The GA will be led by the Triarchy, two General Assembly members and one Alliance Council member selected by their nations endorsed by the Alliance Council and appointed by the General Assembly through three-round elections. Each member of the Triarchy can have a maximum of one term. Once a triarch's term has ended, they are not allowed to run again. The nation that selected a member of the triarch is allowed to send another diplomat to be appointed in an election, but cannot have back-to-back triarchs.

The GA will also consist of a General Assembly, Alliance Council, Financial Board, and Industrial Board, which are the GA's unifying establishments.

The General Assembly (GAGA or GA) is the largest GA branch. General Assembly members are appointed by their member nations and appoint the Triarchy and Alliance Council. In addition, the General Assembly creates both compulsory and non-compulsory laws. The General Assembly is allowed to make decisions for the Alliance Council if they are in deadlock for more than 2 months on one issue. The seats in the General Assembly vary as nations join/leave the GA. As of right now, there are 50 seats in the General Assembly.

The Alliance Council (GAAC or AC) is appointed by the General Assembly. The Alliance Council can, among other things, approve of the use of the GA's military against one or more nations when the nation poses a threat to international security, establish sanctions, force nations to cut diplomatic ties with genocidal nations or nations that severely restrict civil and/or political freedoms when it is deemed necessary, and surveil persons/government deemed likely to be in violation of the GA's laws or purposes. There are 9 seats in the Alliance Council.

The Financial Board (GAFB or FB) creates the GA's budget, deciding how much money member nations should pay. Each member nation must pay the same amount of NSD, so the average economic strength, economic output, government income from taxes, and ability to pay between member nations are taken into account. There are 13 seats in the Financial Board. Each Financial Board member is appointed by member nations that are chosen by schedule.

The Industrial Board (GAIB or IB) supports developing nations with industrial development and expansion. It mainly attempts to improve industrial development and economic competition while keeping effects on the environment low. There are 9 seats in the Industrial Board. Each Industrial Board member is appointed by member nations that are chosen by schedule.

The Founders' Board (GAFOB or FOB or GAFB or FB) is a council of the GA's alliance founders. The power the Founders' Board holds is still undecided.

There are also various GA branches, with each focusing on specific tasks that allow it to function. The powers of these branches can be restricted by any of the unifying establishments, but these restrictions are limited to the already listed tasks of each establishment, preventing the establishments from controlling the branches or the branches from holding power over the establishments.

So far, I have noted that many nations have ridiculously large populations. Having a large population is powerboosting, but it won’t have any effect on your power in the GA or result in you getting kicked.

It’s ridiculous for a normal nation yes, but we do have multiple colonies just look at our map

As do I. I have actually down-sized my IC population significantly in recent weeks as well.

Why do you want to join the GA? (actual): So that Sealand gets to end the nuclear issue in the Galapagos over Sealand trying to use it in its occupation to gain nukes, which isn't going to well and the people are demanding an end to nuclear research. Sealand is looking to divert attention away from this to avoid Little Brother's image getting tarnished right after an election. Seeing as one of his campaign promises was to get nukes, this could be another issue, but there's always got to be something to distract Sealand from this issue.
Other: Make sure to lend me some amphibious landing craft in case of a war, Sealand produces too many submarines for its own good.
