2nd Allied Tribe War [OOC | PT/MT/FanT | APPLICATION]

The Allied Tribe, a nation formed as a result of a union between Deetil and Deluai existing from time immemorial, was and is a pacifist nation. Pacifism (along with vegetarianism) created The Allied Tribe's perception of and from other peoples and was present in many forms. Despite being a secular nation, almost all Allied Tribals (Deetilan and Deluaiian alike) followed the Decombian religion, a very pacifist religion that gives Allied Tribals (and Delotheaans in general) very limited forms of supernatural abilities, and despite being a democratic nation, still had a powerless and often poor monarch, named the Revered Pacifist of Deetilans and Deluaiians. However, even the beliefs of The Allied Tribe, which had lasted for millennia, could not resist change in the digital age, with ruptures forming and enlarging. Among other things, a militarist and expansionist movement (the Fascist Party) formed, and after exiting The Allied Tribe due to fears of repression, reformed as the Allied Tribal Fascist Front and reentered and invaded The Allied Tribe, leading to the 1st Allied Tribe War. A coalition in favor of the pacifist Allied Tribal government formed, and, after fierce fighting, the Allied Tribal government won the conflict.
In the aftermath of the 1st Allied Tribe War, The Allied Tribe grew increasingly complacent, realizing that even in modern times that they could still defend themselves. Pacifist sentiment, while always strong, grew even stronger as citizens wished to prevent another civil war from happening again. Allied Tribal citizens voted to allow the Fascist Party to take part in local elections. However, this had unintended consequences. In the first elections since the 1st Allied Tribe War, Revered Pacifist of Deetilans and Deluaiians and elected Revered Chief Deokuk Decombius of the Allied Tribe Party won a second term as Revered Chief in a landslide victory, taking 65 percent of the vote, with the Allied Tribe Party winning a majority of the villages, followed by the National Party, Reform Party, and Libertarian Party. However, the Fascist Party did not win any villages and received less than 1,000 votes. Despite two recounts, including an international recount, every result remained. Declaring government and international corruption, the fascist supporters took to the streets. Protests turned into riots, and riots into rebellions. With 10 fascists already killed and thousands of Allied Tribals wounded, Deokuk Decombius ordered the arrest and trial of several Fascist Party leaders, citing incitement of insurrection as justification. Before they could be arrested, they, along with most of the Fascist Party supporters, secretly fled to Southeast Marajarbia, reorganized into the Allied Tribal Fascist Front once more, and invaded.
Throrus Antiroulai, the main original Fascist Front leader, was released by the invaders from the facility he was kept in, and with his charisma, convinced many soldiers and thousands of the extremely anti-pacifist and anti-government men and women to join his forces. Within one week, the Fascist Front managed to occupy most of the two islands. The Allied Tribe suffered major territorial losses, losing most of their territory and several major cities, such as Daesallir City (the 2nd-largest Allied Tribal city behind Deetilum, and the largest coastal city) and Raefusd City, but the Deetiluaiians (another demonym for Allied Tribals) put up a tenacious defense, and managed to halt the FF short of the Deetilan and Deetiluaiian capital of Deetilum and and the Deluaiian capital of Deluaiium.
In its present state, there is no clear winner, with both sides equally matched in a war that could last much longer than anybody would expect. With the Deetiluaiian government utilizing the defensive strategy it always uses, and the Fascist Front attempting large amounts of offensives to keep the tempo of conflict on their side, the war may last much longer than anybody expects.However, as the Fascist Front loses momentum and its offensives are halted, both sides realize one thing; there is still hope for the Allied Tribal government.
