Despite having a rather authoritarian government, Meretica is a very socially and economically liberal nation; it is extremely proud of its unions and workers.

What sort of support were you planning to provide?

The Paleocacherian military can provide samples of breechloading artillery guns and repeating rifles. We also have samples of prototype smokeless powder that can be used for artillery to enable smokeless firing, thus making it more accurate and more difficult for the enemy to see.
P.S. I realize that nitrocellulose smokeless powder wasn't invented IRL until 1884 and wasn't widely adopted for small arms use until the late 1880s. But there were trials done in the early 1870s with guncotton and different smokeless powders for artillery. So an artillery battery with a trial program of smokeless powder being provided to a war in 1875 shouldn't be too unrealistic I think.

Grand History.
I wish to join as The Third Republic Of Hathian/Greater Hathia, fighting to preserve the current government as the revolution would upset the transportation of commodities that the Upper Class and Politicians rely on. Losing such commodities would not cripple the economy, but it would certainly cause a great upset. During this period of time, the decline of the Republic became increasingly evident, as nepotism, classism, and greed became rampant in the Government.
The Hathian Republic had just triumphantly finished the War of 1866, establishing itself as a world superpower thanks to the war revitalizing its dying economy as well a surge of patriotism and national pride.
During this era, Greater Hathia would seek to expand its influence by involving itself in foreign wars, establishing trade, and exploring the distant corners of the world. But

I don't see how this relates to the civil war itself. If you want to interact with Aionios Rhomania, you'll have to run it by them and get their approval.

Roughly 13,000 Infantry would be deployed. Of these, 7,900 would be veteran units with experience in combat, with the rest being “green”(have not seen combat, but are trained).

Hathian, you basically teleported a fleet right off the Mareyland coast. For one, I subscribe to the idea that it's good RP etiquette for fleet movements like that to take several posts - usually one for departure, one in transit, and then finally arrival - unless discussed otherwise with the OP. Neo Prutenia, for example, got my prior OOC approval to begin in medias res, with his ship already arriving at Eureka.

If I'd know your plan was to begin immediately with their arrival, I would have counseled against it, since its unrealistic that any fleet could assemble and make it to Mareyland so quickly after the outbreak of conflict.

But I don't want that post to go to waste, since it was well-written. So what I'm going to do is, for now, treat that as happening in the future and not address it just yet. I intend to begin the battle outside the capital Eureka with my next post, and then once that has concluded I'll allow that sufficient time has passed in-universe that your fleet can be considered to have arrived.

Looks interesting. I might end up joining. Would help add more tensions and hardships in Thermodolia proper especially if the war is expensive as in roughly 15 years Thermodolia will have its own revolution.

Obviously if I do join Thermodolia would be supporting the National Union as at that time Thermodolia was ruled by a aristocratic dictatorship.

Hello everyone.

I'd like to thank all of you who have shown interest, and especially Neo Prutenia and Aionios Rhomania for putting so much time and effort into writing with me. However, I must announce that this RP is going to come to an end.

The reason is simple: Mareyland itself is going to undergo a transformation. I'm adjusting my national lore, and it's going to be a very thorough retcon. When I’m finished with that retcon and worldbuilding I intend to plan new RPs in the new Mareyland, and I will let you all know what that happens.

Thank you again for your participation and/or interest. My apologies to those who did not get to actually post much in the IC thread. I hope to write with you all again soon.
