In District 38 of Oceania, apartment builds can be seen on fire, and Tracers of small arms can be seen going back and forth. the war between the NSH and the National Liberation started when the NLM bombed an NSH HQ causing the death of about 27 members in retaliation the NSH has started arresting anyone suspected of being part of the NLM movement however the NL decided to fight back resulting in a Siege of Sarajevo scenario in District 38 both way in and out are blocked off by both sides apartment buildings turned into recoilless guns and sniper groups hideouts the fighting had spread into nearby open fields, and hills.
Factions-
NSH- The Nationalist, The Sword, and The Hand of the Leader
The NSH is a Paramilitary Wing of the Oceania Military they are mostly equipped with copies of the AK assault rifle and some Nato weapons. their Armor mostly consists of M18s and T-34-85s and some T-55s and T-62s that were given to them by the Homeland Militia so they will mostly make technicals to help boost the numbers up. they control the northern part of district 38 and some parts of the nearby hills they fight the NLFM with mostly guerilla tactics and putting Snipers and recoilless guns in abandoned buildings and using landmines to their advantage
NLFM-New Liberation Front Movement
The new Liberation Front Movement seeks to remove the NSH group and also reform the country into a communist state. their arsenal mostly consists of captured weapons and vehicles so mostly AKs and T-55s they manage to steal during the early parts of the war their tactics consist of attacking at night and also using guerilla tactics against the NSH.
So basically you'll be fighting in a Siege of Sarajevo/Dubrovnik and with a mix of Vietnam war thrown in so be prepared to fight anything this isn't a walk in the park where everything is easily known everything can and will kill you
Rules
1. No godmodding I will only warn you once and if you do it more than once I will give out punishments to your forces in the RP
i.e: nation A: my 100 tanks and IFVs drive through the muddy terrain and attack and killing Nation B's forces. The punishments: While Nation A's armored vehicles were driving through the muddy terrain they didn't take account of the harsh rains in the area resulting in their vehicles getting stuck in the mud leaving them vulnerable to Nation B's forces

4. No WMDs I have seen in other RPs what nations can do with WMDs and usually ends up in godmodding
5. No Chemical and Biological Weapons the only chemical weapon I will allow is tear gas but you have to be realistic with it such as taking account of wind and the weather since it will affect the gas and also the area you are in i.e urban, forest, etc
6. Be realistic your artillery is gonna need coordinates on where to shoot and your snipers need to know the distance of their target
7. This is an MT RP you could bring a flintlock rifle and I wouldn't care you'll be at a disadvantage but no futuristic or PMT stuff that includes Exosuits with "anti-anti-anti material" capabilities and orbital stations and etc
8. for forces I'll cap it at 5,000 however this includes tanks, troops, aircraft, and also be realistic no one brings 1000 naval ships or bombers and jets to a battle if you want to send more troops in you'll have to give me a good reason
(I'm not expecting a Stephan Hawking essay on space just a reason on why you should get more troops than the next guy)
