Your history factbook seems very similar to IRL America, I'm sorry if I got that wrong. Also, yeah we are sending soldiers to fight the monarchists and bring peace to the region but just not with the UN. In U.A.S history, a lot of nations were invaded or puppeted so no use for the UN was seen and as such was disbanded.

No matter the price, the cargo will be delivered.

Four Nimitz Class Aircraft carriers, Zumwalt class destroyers and 7th Fleet OF US Command has been directed towards the Mediterranean Sea. They are ordered to engage if being fired on. Meanwhile, the US Satellite Cobra has been put on Alert 2 to strike when given the order grasping the situation.

The United States government has removed the Naval Blockade imposed by US and Nato forces. All kinds of ships and cargoes are now allowed to pass freely without any trouble and harassment. Lakan fleet being extremely outnumbered receives their orders- to advance and land their forces no matter the cost. The operations is given the name of Ten-ni-gō, referencing IJN Yamato’ final voyage: operation Ten-ichi-go. No matter the cost, no matter the casualties they have to do their duty.

One of the Hashyōki stations approach the US sattelite- for now they’re just spectating, howeverm should it receive it’s orders it’s well within capability to destroy it, using it’s ASAT weapons and Gsh-23 cannon

The two cruisers go silent near the blockade at Gibraltar, it looks like the two are debating on what do. The radio silence goes on for minutes, and than the ships begin to move, teh ships will move through the blockade whether the US likes it or not. And teh ships seem to be on high alert incase the US fires upon them. Multiple cannons are moving in front. And many soldiers head to bow of the ships to face the blockade.
