Great, stepping up to your mistakes is part of being mature.

Ok really quick due to the whole 2 Galapagos thing I think that there will be problems so I hav evoke up with a solution that appeases to both of our problems.

How about:
In an alternate universe the SSS captures the GLA in Beirut this skyrockets the PLP’s popularity and they win 62% of the seats defeating the LibComs and LibCaps and secure independence for the Galapagos while maintaining good relations with the tourists and separating themselves from the GA. This gives the Galapagos independence and the GA a tourist destination.

How is that. If you have any complaints I’d love to hear them so I can edit it.

Seems like a reasonable compromise to me

No. If it’s your canon, it happened, but my canon already happened and already exists.

I want what was done in the thread to be canon. It is either that, or your canon and my canon simultaneously existing.

Middle ground: The election was 50/50 and their is currently deadlock on the bill declaring independence. The PLP is trying to appease the LibCap-LibCom but currently all party members are staying strong in their commitments?

Canonically, yes. They formed the Two-Star Alliance during the election and won the majority.

Yes. The LibCap-LibComs still formed a coalition, but for spice let’s say the tensions of deadlock was quickly wearing down relations. Not enough for the two parties to split, but enough that a good and enticing offer might lead them to vote Independence.

Canonically, yes. They formed the Two-Star Alliance during the election and won the majority.

However that was the reason that another civil war started. Without the election won by them (which in any other cannon forum wouldn’t have happened) the population would be content with peaceful independence. However if we want any sort of resolution then that couldn’t have happened

No. That isn’t a good idea as of yet.

Ok, swing back then. The fact that the Two-Star was on hind legs desperately trying to keep members from breaking rank and voting independence made the TSA stronger.

We could say that the PLP, with some public support in the form of peaceful protests orchestrated by the Dove Party, proposed an independence bill.

Yea however the Dove Party was only formed to combat the violence the party however could form sooner and gain more momentum

There would be no rebellious members. Most parliamentary systems have incredibly high rates of loyalty. Look up the Canadian rates of rebellion against the party. Especially for a landmark bill.
