Today, the Southeast Marajarbian Government has issued a hard labor policy for any Galapagosian citizen who had either been allied with the GLA or is hostile to the TSA. The Hard Labor policy includes working on local farms and factories operated by Southeast Marajarbian Companies and enforced by Southeast Marajarbian Troops for 8.50 Andreusyonickals per hour (OOC note: “Per” hour, not “an” hour. This means that for every hour worked, 8.50 is earned). This comes as the Liberal Capitalists are officially registered as a branch of a Marajarbian Party, and are dedicated to turning the Galapagosian economy into a mixed economy. As such, a former Galapagosian Government building has been repurposed by the Liberal Capitalists has the main headquarters for the Galapagos, while the Liberal Capitalists continue their plans for the nation, as well as their plans to remain in parliament, wether or not they are in the majority.
Meanwhile, the Provisional Council within the Galapagos is still present. However, it is independent from the main government, with the only things that it can do being beyond Presidental control. This includes observing government progress, appointing new officials, calling for elections, and even being able to remove a President. Since the Galapagos currently has an Olpenese President representing the MoC, this is not necessary. However, another goal of the Provisional Council is to have meetings with any and all democratic and/or appointed leadership to manage how the country is run, exactly in the same style as a CEO and Board of Directors Act in many corporations.
OOC: You have sent almost every Galapagosian to work literally everyone hates you.
IC: This causes outrage in the Galapagos population and many simply refuse to go. This also form the framework for a new party to rise The Freedom Party (it was never formed earlier due to the GLA being caught). The provisional government seeing how this would end created a milita to combat the occupation forces and escort them out of the country, via force ic necessary.
