Edit: I will only de-canonize the invasion if you remove ALL factories, destroy/deport ALL clones as ordered, and resort to an agricultural economy. And you have to keep in mind that Lakan supervision of Vikanias has been going on since the war ended.

The Organas and all other nobles have been loyal all of their days. War heroes like the great General Hopkins are now being hunted down like demons for crimes that were never committed. With Vikanias dodging destruction the Meretican “people” they now focus on rebuilding the nation further by installing new roads and other infrastructure. General memeous is awarded the Seal peace prize. With the Mereticasn probably screaming the new plan is to band natiosn together to keep the peace and stop threats. This proposed faction will be called the Super Cool Alliance (SCA). And will be like the peacekeepers

The letter is taken by Julianne Sorit just before her preeminent with Wilmington regarding South Olpens role in the UF. Once she sees its from an Organa or the staff of, her interest is peaked. She reads the short letter. She cancels with Wilmington saying that the family dog just died in childbirth along with her litter. A flimsy excuse to put of a diplomatic meeting, but it’s not like Wilmington can force her attendance.

For now, she is locked in her office, contemplating the note. Was it the last trickery of a fascist warmonger, trying to tear apart the special relationship of the 2 countries? It couldn’t be. She met Organa at a fundraiser in her preliminary years of charity before political work. He seemed so trustworthy and honest, not a fascist war monger. Or could it be the last testament of a fallen democracy, desperate to be avenged. She does not know.

The weight of the decision is lying heavy on her shoulders. Could she truly trust the government with such information? The same government that whole heartedly supported Wilmington and chanted against the fascist confederates. But at the same time, any moments wasted would mean another moment that Wilmington would gain more power, kill more nobles, keep democracy dead another night. She does not know.

Among the thought, she had one idea she didn’t much like brewing. What if, what if, Mr. Porter was right, but Wilmington was still on the good side. Her mind flashed as she thought about the hardships and atrocities Meretica has suffered. Could they have been stopped, been nothing more than military plans in the minds of twisted war criminals? Would preeminent action have protected the people? She does not know.

It’s late, 1:30 AM. She must get to sleep. She couldn’t though. She read the novel by Esther Hornwright. This very book led her own mother to abandon Southeast Marjabia. The main character, a standin for her mother, was deciding if the cost of Olpenese death was too much. Her mother knew in that instance, she knew that democracy and freedom was priceless. She has also taken to doing live streams once a week from an undisclosed location in which she has become labeled a Confederate-supporting conspiracy theorist, dampening her appeal to Mereticans at large and making even the most loyal fans abandon her works. During one such live stream, she brings out a detailed chart and begins sharing the following conspiracy theory:

Wilmington is the ringleader. The Senate is mostly made up of her cronies, the so-called Loyalists that aren't loyal to anything other than their pocketbook. Wilmington took over a little too quickly, and the Political Union sure did clamp down on welfare and healthcare spending. The minimum wage went down, wealth gaps have increased dramatically, massive tax cuts are preventing us from moving forward with our lives... I mean, what's with that? The Senator Bonteri that I voted for before the Esterton Atrocity never would have done this stuff, but she is now. She went from being a good far-left LLC voter to a fascist. That's what Bonteri is now, a fascist. None of them are decent people anymore, they do what helps them-- and what irks me the most is that the populace supports them! Surely there's got to be some secretive cabal leading this with Wilmington at the top...

Sorit doesn’t hear. Of course she could find his website. But she didn’t know of it, more, she didn’t want to know of it. If she knew the truth, there would be no turning back. Sorit wasn’t ready for that, not yet. She continued contemplating the letter. What was it, why was it sent to her, why not MoC Jordan? Was it even from the senators staff, did the senator approve of it. She didn’t know anything anymore.

She got in her suit and pants, complete with her badge as a state department official. Complete with the letter. She put her GPS in for the Secret Service Department HQ in downtown Constitution City. She got out of her driveway, got so far as the main road. But she couldn’t do it. She couldn’t trust anybody else with the information. She went to McDonalds instead.

Once she got back home and ate her chicken burger, fries, and shake, she read the letter. She read again and again. What, what was it supposed to mean. What is this, why did I get it. What could she do. She couldn’t do anything, not yet. She could do one thing, one thing to save the democracy and unfold the web of lies, unfold something at least.

She got ready for a meeting with Wilmington for the second time this week. She called Wilmington to announce that she had mourned long enough and that she would offer to meet with her over the FU. Given the go ahead, she had entered State Department Jet #3, its luxurious insides not calming her at all. She asked for tea, blackberry tea. She kept reading the novel. She kept reading the letter.

She thinks for the remaining 2 hours. Is Wilmington the good guy? Who knew if the next attack on democracy would be held in South Olpen? What if she had the power to stop it before it even began? She watched Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It was her favorite film of the ever growing MCU. It was also oddly appropriate. Could you hold a gun to everyone’s head and call it safety?
