ISC: Meretican scientists working with South Olpen believe that they have made a breakthrough in weapon technology. They have created a device called a proto-saber. It consists of a metal hilt connected to a cord plugged into a small, mobile nuclear battery that hangs from the waist. Two prongs rise from the crossguard and, when it is ignited, energy surges up the prongs to form an energetic blade. The blade is powerful enough to slice through certain metals-- and human flesh.

SIC: The breakthrough is indeed promising. The technology is being developed, and some are promoting the idea of adding them to certain drones. For now though, they will be testing the device in different conditions.

SIC: The photo-sabers have proves effective in field trials, with them surging even beyond expectations. The blades are being constructed in certain factories across the land. The first use of the new technology on drones have begun, with a special drone having the battery inserted into the center while the blade deploys at the hand.

Then, the Senators began the process of selecting a new leader... a new president. On the spot, Maria Wilmington was elected as the next President of Meretica.

OOC: That doesn’t make any sense to me. Seals don’t have opposable thumbs or hands, so there is no way for them to drive. Seals also don’t have legs or feet, so how would they reach the pedals? While seals are capable of a lot, I don’t see them capable of doing those things without human hands or human help.

In Oceania, they are facing a few problems Overpopulation with the increasing amount of uncooperative they are taking up space and along with high crime rates and since war equipment production has slowed down a bit unemployment skyrocketed the government refused to put Gun Control Laws that restricts the person from obtaining firearms since they believe it was their god General Am who gave them the right to arm themselves so to combat these problems the Government decided to do a yearly event where all crimes including is legal for 24 hours and level-4 weapons and below are allowed to be used and all High-ranking Government is given immunity. With this event, they believe it will lower all 3 problems within one day.

Ha! To think that we would place the debts upon the common worker, as if they are the ones responsible, completely ignoring how everyone pays their part... What a load of [censored]! I'm basically paying out of my own pocket for trying to rebuild, but only now did we have to pull out because of this dumpster fire coming up out of nowhere! To hell with them! “Hello, my fellow Olpenese citizens. I will be making a few announcements this morning, and I hope you may hear. After this message I will be translating these announcements to English and French. I will now begin this mornings messages.

First I would like to address the attempt on my life. I am sad to announce that the executive I was ready to appoint has been killed. We were in a meeting discussing his cooperation with the LibCom party, when we heard shots ring around us. By the time we had gathered our senses, it appears both the minister and assassin had died. The SSD has identified the culprit as the terrorist group known as the GLA. Us and Sealand are working on bringing the leadership to justice for the death of the executive. Even trivial in a time like this, I will soon be announcing the new candidate for the position. I would like to give my prayers to the victims family.

I am also wishing to discuss the ever unfolding crisis in Meretica. It is the decision of the Senate and Executive Chambers to stay out of the matter for the time being. We are afraid that we have too many other commitments to get involved in another war. That being said, we wholeheartedly support the loyalists and the president in their war. We also wish to make it clear that the confederation is not a legitimate government, they are a terrorist organization that should be destroyed.

Gonswanzan infantry deployed to the streets after gunfire breaks out in Jaktoo and Pearl Town. Several arrests are made. with many, many more shot dead or wounded.

The president has decided to fill an emergency order to slowly convert police over to more proper military police, with more authority and better equipment along with ready access to armored cars and APCs, plus heavier equipment. These "peacekeepers" will be present to ensure the peace and ensure that nobody can resist cut down on crime in general. Additionally, hospitals and schools along with airport terminals will be outfitted with more passive defenses such as bullet-proof and "bomb-proof" windows and walls. Religion will be tolerated, but any sort of death cult or cult, in general, will be removed by force.

For the sake of our security, noting the goings-on in other regions beyond our own, this is perhaps for the better of us all. Especially when certain people can't control themselves around guns, we are better off in a state where violence will be prevented... With violence.

Memeous walks in and opens the stasis chambers, residing in tehm are clones, they were ver really put into retirement. Memeous talks to the clones about recent events and proposing that they join his crew to disrupt the world, the clones, wanting revenge join him for his conquest.


Memeous heads to a garrison if soldiers and also invites them, he has formed his band of bandits and will purge the earth.

It has been a few hours and the gang discovers a downed HELO-C. It’s damaged but it can be repaired. As the group enters the craft they find the CLARK model that comes with all HELO’s. This model is unharmed and seemingly lost battery from the nuclear warheads. They red tire the CLARK and HELO-c and fly off. Now preparing to avenge the fallen.

They initiate the sequence for a series of mirrors and satellites in orbit around Earth to reflect sunlight to a central satellite where it is intensified and focused on a single point, an island off the coast of Catan (where the Thunderball bombs were tested, this island is nicknamed "the Copa Ka-boom-a").

Intense heat vaporizes the surface soil, and the hot, pressurized air sends out a shockwave crumbling it's remaining landmass. Copa Ka-boom-a Island is now a sand heap in the Atlantic.

Cheers erupt, and Morgan is more horrified than proud, but is impressed fro a technical standpoint. Some of his generals believe Daedalus could, as a last resort, be used against Vikanias, the nation of seals that Morgan think is being made up as some running gag prank.
