The most predominant gas being stockpiled is known as VX nerve agent, which already has been put on missiles on fighter jets, allowing for their usage in airstrikes. 3 government run pharmaceutical companies have been mandated to reach monthly quotas of the gas. Delivery systems lay in the making, but the emerging nominator is a cluster guided missile with concentrated VX in them, fired towards it target. Targets can range from whole communities to military formations and defenses, because gas is very versatile.

In other news, Costaburrito's provinces report a lack of food in stores for the 3rd month in a row, prompting the federal government to take action through reforms. Most of Costaburritos rural population is in poverty, and it's rural population frequently skips meals because of skyrocketing costs. The government has purchased millions of cows from local business owners, international agricultural leaders, and neighbors to distribute cows to the rural populace. These cows increase productivity on farms, milk production, and the value of local economies in small towns, as well as preventing hunger. There is still no food surplus to help sustain urban residents, so the government has distributed rations of rice to people.
Rice is a very efficient food producer, so the government has shifted to feeding the population with that. Thousands of urban residents out of a job were offered a job in rice fields located in northern Costaburrito. 123.000 people willingly volunteered, and after reassessment of skills in their respective fields, another 800.000 people were moved to the northeast to work rice fields. The moves were frankly, unpopular so collectivized food halls with plenty of rice helped ease nerves of the people who were farming against their own will. Rice seeds were imported from other parts of asia and south america to help bolster production. The government has more people employed, and expects earnings to come back within around 5 years.

It seems that Meretica is headed for a civil war.
