The Military State of the Galapagos wrote:GLA forces remain underground planting mines and waging a war of terror against the communists oppressors and civilian armed resistance grows as does the general anti-SM sentiment. Civilians resort to dropping gas grenades on clumps of SM soldiers and the GLA says: This is what happens when a country that nobody likes tries to occupy you they meet fierce resistance, if they had the support of the people then they would not have to rule by force yet look at the scenes outside. Death and war rage through the Galapagos thanks to these communist slavers, and by now they have shed any pretense of upholding democracy in favor of keeping their one part state. We are merely giving the people what they want, freedom. As the crowds say “We will never be slaves” this means we will never submit to SM and their genocidal communist dictatorship we will fight until we rid these menaces from our lands.
Thanks to the formation of the Marajarbian Federation, 120,000 Troops are organized and sent over to major cities within the borders of the Galapagos to secure the Galapagos, protect tourists and immigrant groups, and create a safer environment. These troops are more than capable of combat due to their many years of honorable service.
Meanwhile, Gov. Edwards leaves the Galapagos, and Gov. Andrews is sworn in in front of a closed-door audience. Gov. Andrews immediately continues a small portion of Gov. Edwards agenda, which includes the continuation of the Hard Labor Policy for a little over the regular Marajarbian minimum wage. Some of Gov. Andrews agenda also includes freedom of religion and bringing organizations such as the IGRB under the Government’s banner as a constitutional organization dedicated to providing the Galapagosian populace with free and fair jobs for all upon confirmation of the Galapagos being stable enough. However, due to the radicalization of terrorist groups such as the GLA, there are laws put in place to ensure that any Galapagosian citizens having meetings must have them in front of Marajarbian Troops, and that any employee that does not arrive to work and/or escapes from any hard labor policy factory or farm with GLA assistance is tracked down and brought back by government officials or skilled bounty hunters. A random maximum security prison is also repurposed for any and all captured GLA officials that have proven themselves to be extremely violent can stay after being sentenced.
