Andrews agenda also includes freedom of religion and bringing organizations such as the IGRB under the Government’s banner as a constitutional organization dedicated to providing the Galapagosian populace with free and fair jobs for all upon confirmation of the Galapagos being stable enough. Exercise Frozen Fury begins in Antarctica, a touch early, but only due to reports of possible condition 1 storms plaguing the area later this year. It begins with a Gonswanzan amphibious invasion, paired to a mock strike as large amounts of infantry are thrown into a frozen hell, engaging a simulated enemy with AR goggles. The bitter cold and dire conditions paired to the stress of simulated combat will aid in hardening them, along with pushing these men and their weapons to the limit. Tanks and aircraft are also thrown in to add to the chaos, rolling through over fields of ice and snow, plowing through as if this was the real deal.

Within Antarctic waters, the navy prowls the waters, running simulated drills. Missile strikes are strung up, simulated trajectories paired to troop movements. Submarines run simulated attacks against hostile adversaries in virtual space, hunting enemy ships. Carriers glide far beyond, throwing their drones and aircraft to the sky. Even the Republic class Pestilence had come with her escorts to "guard" the fleet as the final weapon to destroy it all. Orders fly through the air, with reports of hits and intercepts.

In the skies above, aircraft jockey around in harsh conditions, weaving through clouds, attacking target drones, and aiding the efforts below. Once airbases are established, they would have to operate in a near-apocalyptic scenario, with the "enemy at the gates" and near-total 24-hour operations. It's not an uncommon sight to see aircraft rolling on only to be replaced by a fresh fighter rolling off to climb into the sky off a gravel runway frozen to the ground.

In space, the Space Force looks down and monitors comms, operating with all three branches and simulating strikes against hostile communications satellites. They also push around Gonswanzan satellites to try to avoid losing them, reporting on enemy positions observed from above as well. Not only are they the eyes in the sky, but they are also a plague for hostile communications, quickly blacking out any (simulated) enemy satellites long before operations could begin and maintaining this veil of darkness over a wide area.

This exercise will take up time, from the 9th of November to the 10th of December, though it may be extended out of spite for the UN.

As a part of further upgrading and increasing the power projection of the United States programme USN and Congress has decided to build and produce Gerald R. Class Aircraft Carriers. Which will replace current carriers on one for one basis starting with the lead ship, Gerald R. Ford replacing Enterprise (CVN-65), and then eventually taking the place of the existing Nimitz-class carriers.

Sealand applauds the Balkans economic growth, and is willing to send some steel and iron in exchange for their stations and trains. Meanwhile, a plan to help save the Galapagos is narrowly defeated in Parliament, though this is expected to change shortly with the public now firmly in support of helping democracy in the Galapagos and Sealandian corporations funding the IGRB. Sealand joining NATO has also ensured that Sealand will continue to have an interest in global affairs.

During a small time of silence internationally, the Balkans as a whole have progressed rapidly with this being achieved by projects started before the merge.

New state of the art trains and stations have finally finished construction following years of co-operation between the Balkans, American and Chinese companies. The new trains are some of the fastest in the world, which has brought the federation more jobs and with it being more connected. Also, the American Boring Company has finished construction of underground car tunnels in major cities bringing city traffic to a near end and allowing car pollution to plummet to an all-time low.

Following the major economic boom and lowering of unemployment across the federation, Northern Italy (People’s Republic of Italy) has requested to join the federation after 67% of their population voted in favour of joining. Heavy debate in the federation is underway, with polls conducted by news sources showing 81% in favour as many wish for the very rich nation to join. Southern Italy (Republic of Italy) is yet to officially comment.

The Balkan government promises that it shall always allow free voting, ensure civil rights and uncensored media! Our people are our priority, as such, we shall spend our money improving their lives, fighting crime and poverty, rehabilitating those who go down the wrong path, aiding those who cannot aid themselves and making sure our people shall always be free and happy!

Gonswanza cautiously extends a hand for free trade between the Balkans and Gonswanza, only due to the sheer state of things "back home" given the ever-present threat of a global nuclear exchange. Even as various countries burn with others prepping to add to the flames, Gonswanza is narrowly skirting around to avoid placing a target upon their back.

Even with nuclear drills still ongoing, at random, paired to prep for growth into the underground.

As that is ongoing, Excercise Frozen Fury continues, as infantry continue to train in "horrific" conditions, learning to adapt and overcome the elements.
