President Gupta condemns Corringtons support to an illegal and human rights abusing regime, which is not the government. Meanwhile, the destruction of SI vessels allows for thousands of modern equipment to enter the harbor, along with mercenaries from around the world's that are mostly ex-special forces enter. The troops begin to slowly push back the regime, and more fundraising is expected.

As news of the half a million untrained militants entering Kochi reaches the deployment of 2,500 guarding the capital, riot soldiers deploy more tear gas and begin erecting makeshift barriers around the capital building (out of cars/rubble) to ‘protect the building’ as insurgency activity increases. Code word “PARIS” is relayed a second time, and the capital deployment moves into position...
The next day at an hour before dawn, the 2,500 Corrish soldiers breach the South Indian capital building by surprise, taking several guards captive. Surrounding the building, several groups in riot/SWAT gear blast their way into the building while a second group from the Corrish S.A.S. is deployed via helicopter onto the rooftop to snipe any outside interference from the warlords. All South Indian government and military officials are taken captive inside and held hostage. S.A.S. squads search for the General and any other South Indian leaders with the intent to capture them alive. To continue to keep crowds away, forces around the perimeter maintain their riot shields and deploy copious amounts of tear gas. S.A.S. snipers continue their sights on the surrounding streets and buildings. The Corrish dead and wounded from this seizure of the capital and government buildings are made a priority for evacuation alongside the first group of captured government officials. The Corrish military makes an announcement that the first helicopter evac, as well as every following helicopter evac, will contain South Indian captives from the government regime.
Thus begins The South Indian Hostage Crisis.

The capitol is under the control of rebels? The currently temporary capitol is a military base 20 meters below ground where the dictator and warlords make decisions?

The military leadership was not found due to all of them either being in deployed units or in extremely defended mountain bunkers far from the ICDN reach and the dictator couldn’t care less that a bunch of possibly rebellious civilian administrators who are useless in a war our captured. He even jokingly says “kill them all. Serves them right for being idiots.”

The final few helicopters of captives and soldiers evacuate the capital. Following this full evacuation, Corrish forces are regrouped with other ICDN forces, and all captured South Indian soldiers/officials are sent back to eventually face interrogation and trial.

Most turn out to be neutral in the conflict and just want to govern the country in a stable city and most of all the paycheck. Some could be charged with corruption and with the coup being by corruption is obviously sus. Most just want to avoid the conflict and get a paycheck. All the people who were given classified data were loyal to the dictator or warlords both refused to go.

The official orders instructed peacekeepers to arrest all officials within the building. Those who refused to go were wrested into captivity, or may have needed to be incapacitated. Regardless of consent, the Corrish peacekeepers wouldn’t take “no” for an answer.

The major commanders are leading troops 10,000-150,000 strong. The troops would Simply laugh then open fire from the safety of their defenses or just use the fact that at best they number the ICDN troops 1:3 and if they somehow start winning they’ll just call for help and get help. Or just have the commanders retreat if they are ok with losing the position.

OOC: That’s not the same as you said earlier. You just said that there were consenting officials willing to be captured as well as officials knowing confidential information who said “no”. You can’t change the story afterwards and say that there were no government officials in the capital.

Take note of the point where you say: “All the people who were given classified data were loyal to the dictator or warlords both refused to go.”
You also say nothing about rebels, instead saying of the people inside the capital that “Most turn out to be neutral in the conflict and just want to govern the country in a stable city and most of all the paycheck. Some could be charged with corruption and with the coup being by corruption is obviously sus”. I’m pretty sure that people who want to govern the country are government officials, and people who could be charged with corruption are also government officials too, since you mention the coup where government officials were bribed. Just admit it, per your own words, there were loyal government officials AND unloyal government officials in that building.

Yeah but the ones with data military info aren’t that stupid nor would they ever go into the enemies hands. But what is the use of civilian info in an invasion. All of it would be: the economy is screwed. Because civilian government officials wouldn’t have military info because their 1st not trusted as they are bribed 2nd who would give civilian government officials military info.

We’ll gladly take those with civilian data. Government officials are government officials. Once they’re removed, it’ll be that much harder for the dictator to ever get a stable hold over the nation again. Government positions don’t exist for no reason at all, and with them gone the dictator will have a difficult time returning the country to stability or normalcy. As for “who would give civilian government officials military info”, a lot of governments do. Look at Parliament in the UK, Congress in the US, and many other governments in capital cities which have officials and representatives who are granted military intelligence. I’d think South India wouldn’t be all that different.
Also, nobody ever said those with classified information would go willingly. You said that there were officials loyal to the dictator in the building. Sure those officials wouldn’t be stupid enough to go willingly, but what stops Corrish peacekeepers from forcefully capturing them against their will?

I said that the capitol was UNDER REBEL CONTROL. You think that the rebels would just leave the dictators government their without killing them and that the government wouldn’t evacuate the capitol? Rebels control the capitol city of Kochi. The civilian administrators who are scared of purges from both sides would take the bait to get out. And yes he’d have trouble stabilizing the country after an ICDN invasion but he more concerned about surviving.

Not me who said it but romextly/pres gupta.
Yeah but would you trust bribed government officials with important information. And anyways that loyalty would be from money not real loyalty. You could just buy the info out of them.

ZN remotely disabled the SI Air Force then sent in the naval group and their planes agains the SI navy and the nation and establishing a naval blockade around SI. The navy and air force sunk the whole SI navy surrounding kochi no casualties. Then bombers hit the nation hard bombing moving government forces into the ground and halting their recovery of their economy by stopping almost all trade into SI and bombing the industry. To avoid the seawall they just went around by using paratroopers to gain landing points. But when they landed they did not find a demoralized army who wanted to join ZN like in 2015 when they started the mess but a veteran well-armed fighting force. The ZN paratroopers and their planes we’re shot out of the skies and for the ones who arrived we’re hunted down and killed. Disorganized and confused most died and the remaining with no way to retreat ran into the forces. Command ordered off the attack and Kaya Jones was forced to back down and out of war against the dictator entirely after the senate overruled her executive order with 64% approval of the revoking of the order.
