The Osovian soldiers in Sinda do not stop the Riftans from starting their construction, but their visibly increased presence nearby serves as a warning that the Riftans are being watched. Still, construction continues unhindered by the Osovians. If there was an issue with the facility being built, the garrison at Sinda was not making it known.
"Those Riftans are up to something," Lt. Surkhurayik mutters to himself, keeping a personal watch of the construction sight from a distance. "I don't know what, but I intend to find out before it's too late."
The next day, two medical trailers are set up in the Riftans’ designated area, as well as tents for the personnel. Around twelve that day, the facility officially opens to the civilians. Guarded doctors walk through the streets, bandaging up minor wounds, and offering to take civilians back to the facility to heal more serious wounds. As the first few civilians trickle in and pass inspection, they are bandaged and healed, then are sent to a separate trailer to rest. Few serious surgeries can be performed yet.
