Absolutely. When the change is official IC I will alter the OP alliance list to reflect this.

Well ZN has been running spy planes gather data. They have obvious ZN insignia on them. ZN has made an official statement saying their neutral and has gone on that statement as they’ve invited diplomats from both sides and iur iffering guns. I am thinking a commander orders the shooting on a ZN spyplane knowing its ZN and ZN demands money in compensation.

The only problem is the government has its hands full and isn't interested in shooting down neutral spy planes at the moment. However, if ZN wants to join the war they could always stage an "incident" and blame the East Osovian government, whether they actually did it or not. It's happened quite a few times in history.

State of the RP: One Week Hiatus
I know that title seems bad, but I am going to be taking a one week hiatus from NS. In this time, the RP will be put on hold until I return at the beginning of the following week. For clarification, I will start this hiatus/RP freeze on Monday, July 26th, at 1:00 PM EDT. You are still free to post up until that point, so anyone who was wanting to make a post should try and get it in before then. At 1:00 PM I will make another large response to everyone's posts, then will put the RP on freeze until 1:00 PM EDT of the following Monday, August 2nd.
Duration of Hiatus
Hiatus Starts: 26 July 2021, 13:00 EDT
Hiatus Ends: 2 August 2021, 13:00 EDT
Notes: IC open until start of hiatus. I will make a response to everyone's IC posts at the start of hiatus.
Reasons for Hiatus
1. Burnout: This is the first RP I have ever managed, and it has taken a lot more energy than I first anticipated. Even after cleaning up the first butchered attempt, it has been exhausting trying to keep up and keep track of everything that has been going on. I still love the RP dearly, and do want to continue it, but I need a small break to clear my mind and relax. If I do not take a break, I feel the burnout would be even greater and that I would have no choice but to take an indefinite hiatus from NS.
2. RP Quality: Don't worry, this is about quality on my end, not yours. Now that things are starting to pick up, I am starting to realize that the tiny map I made and lack of keeping track of everyone's forces are holding the RP back from reaching its full potential. During this break I will attempt to make a more detailed map, as well as take count of everyone's units and create factbooks for some of my equipment (especially my planes). And since I am starting to feel burnt out, I am going to need to take some time off to do this. Otherwise the stress of trying to improve the RP would be compounded with trying to keep up with everyone's posts, questions, and requests.
3. Real Life Circumstances: I cannot recall for the life of me who I've already said this to, but I have recently lost my job. And while that may free up more of my time, it has created an additional stress as I attempt to reacquire employment. I will need to focus some of my time and energy into setting myself up for the future, and this has proven difficult with some currently ongoing aspects of my life (most of which I would prefer to remain private). I am luck that I do not have anyone financially dependent on me, and that I have been able to save a small sum of money for this exact scenario, so I am not in any immediate danger. But I do want to set myself up with something before my financial situation turns sour.
Final Notes
Again, I want to reiterate how much have loved and enjoyed this RP so far, and I do want to see it continue. It was very difficult for me to commit to taking this hiatus, since I didn't want to disappoint any of you or let any of you guys down. But I believe this will be for the best, for the RP and for myself.

I'd say some of the air defense units probably survived, since they were moved to safer locations a bit prior, but between camouflage not being perfect and expecting an air attack from The-Nation-that-was-Formerly-SA in the south (rather than a cruise missile from PPC in the west) there should still be a fair bit of damage dealt. Definitely didn't delete all your AA systems, but they probably aren't all intact either.

What I meant is that my earlier posts meant that all the units continuously change their location to avoid being targeted by things like Kh-55’s. I suppose this also depends on the type of missiles SA uses. Moving them around after defending a missile strike is a necessity in modern combat (and also partially the reason why all SAM systems I use are very mobile). I won’t post until PPC comes and answers some of my questions.

If I’m correct, Tomahawks use pre-programmed target coordinates for guidance which only further implied that most of my units must’ve already changed their location after the first strike. I mean we aren’t Syrians to think that having a SAM battery not moving is a good idea because it will somehow defend itself or something

Unfortunately things have changed in my life and I am no longer able to commit myself in any significant degree to NS at this time. I'm not going to be able to keep up any of my RP's (except maybe one or two slower ones), and won't be able to see this one to it's completion. For that I am sorry.
It is really hard for me to do this. I feel like I've failed you guys, that I've let you down. But I just do not have the ability to continue using NationStates the way I used to for the time being, and I feel like stringing you guys along and being non-committal to my own RP would be doing you all a disservice. You guys deserve better than that.
I do wish I could continue this RP, as even though it was difficult for me at time it was still tons of fun. Thank you all for participating, you guys rock!
