Ever since the late 1800s, the South has been a problem for the Empire. Constantly wanting independence or autonomy, and using violence to try to get it. Most people believed the situation was solved in 1987, with the passing of the Atlantide Proposal, which created a pro-Southern political party in Parliament. However, the situation has been far from solved. The Southern National Party has made the independence movement into an arsenal, and there only needed to be a small spark in the right place to set it off.

The ‘spark,’ in this case, was the SNP’s leader in Parliament, Robert Fortin. At the State Opening of Parliament yesterday, he seized the moment to deliver a fiery address to the nation, demanding Southern independence, and threatening to secede from the Empire. The threats went too far, and he was arrested for threatening the Emperor. The arrest has caused riots in the South, and there is talk amongst the southern state governments of secession from the Empire. The Emperor has declared that any act of secession is an act of rebellion, and of treason.

The spark has transformed into a searing flame, and the Second Southern Crisis has begun.

- Private reason for support (if any): They wish to estabilish Lakan military presence in Erduit. Having a democratic rebellious nations south of Lakan borders may end up in a bad way.

NOTE: The Flying Circus although almost entirely made up of aces with an extremely large number of flight time, completed missions and kills, has a lot of troubled things about it- namely some of it’s members (Manfred Von Kaltenbrunnergentsshfelde, the commander, also known as The Red Baron, Anna-Lena, second scoring ace in the squadron) are prosecuted and wanted for war crimes, with some other members (Döring and Anna-Lena) being members of Lakan National Socialist Party. The main reason for the existence of infantry detachment is to prevent those pilots from being kidnapped.

It has some anti-submarine measures as well (as requested by Canned Sardines warband, who still remember that little adventure in Crimea)

I mean stimpacks, at very least in their pain-relieving status are MT… For example shit like morphine comes close to the effects of fallout stimpacks.
