After the soldiers got home and the war was won the SBN has sent a crew to film the trials on national television.

Meretica has appointed retired Senator Michelle Campbell to serve as a judge at the Judistan Trials. At the ripe old age of 81, she is expected to be the most senior judge at the proceedings.

South Olpen send the SOSC Chief Justice, the trials is set to begin. The whole affair, however, is called into question of its legitimacy as a closed door agreement made between the Military Justice Division of South Olpen and the Judistan Trials of Meretica Commission is made that pardons early war Olpenese war criminals and war crimes.

VOJ: All eyes are on Meretica right now as the Judistan Trials prepare to begin. The nations of Vikanias, South Olpen, and Galimencia are joining Meretica in judging the fascist war criminals for their crimes against humanity. The first batch of criminals were mostly members of Jaques vra Jeanarde's infamous inner circle and leaders of his Secret Service. Twenty-seven men and one woman are on trial for war crimes. The charges include political genocide, regicide, mass murder, attempted armed rebellion, treason, crimes against peace, crimes against humanity, and inhumane conduct. Several people are being tried in absentia as Laka assisted them in escaping trial. Meretica has ordered sanctions on Laka until these criminals are returned.

For the defense, several fascist sympathizers have volunteered to act as lawyers pro bono. For the prosecution, several Meretican Senators, aristocrats, and lawyers are working together to bring the fascists to justice. Thousands have volunteered as witnesses. Though some have accused the judges of being impartial, the judges over these proceedings are known as some of the top names in the law community.

Meanwhile, the recovery of the nation is underway. Colonies have been given full status as Meretican citizens and are receiving an equal portion of aid. Infrastructure and agriculture are at the forefront of the Senate's votes. Full democratic elections are expected to begin next year, with a little bit of everything being on the ballot. Wine and party supplies are being sold faster than they are being made as Mereticans everywhere are still celebrating the victory against the fascist regime.

Only one judge will be sent to represent both nations but more representatives not judges and the HKBC and other media representatives will show up

ZN troops did capture a commander and multiple key nuclear scientists (who helped build mereticans nukes) during their raid (mainly on their raid) of the most important nuclear bomb construction site. Want to have them on trial? We already took all of their nuclear ideas for ourselves. (They currently say that they got it from somebody else. to keep the secret that it was them who sabotaged reactor)
