[Sky Reavers]

When the news of Crimean rebellion had reached the Sky Reaver Council, they have gathered in the Fullhouse and started to discuss the options. Communist or Democratic? Government or the Rebels? After considering the strategy, they have decided to side with the rebels and officially announced, that Sky Reavers shall support Crimean independence.

Sky Reaver warbands have been rallied and assembled, and set off to support the rebels in Crimea. Led by Warlord John "Four Fingers", they looked forward to be finally deployed, so they would honor themselves with victories to their names and claim their loot. On their way however, they recieved news from the rebels, that rebel navy had sustained heavy losses, which is bad news, since naval dominance could make the deployment problematic if not impossible. Chaotically altering situation had called for fast actions, after all, it's better, that rebels recieve reinforcements with unstable supply lines, that no help at all. Convoys together with light escort have tried to arrive as fast as they can, while attempting to avoid combat, and land the warbands on the rebel controlled territory on the west, so the initial deployment would be on the friendly territory. More desirable than amphibious warfare.

Upon receiving sattelite intel about the movements of Sky Reavers’ patrol, the Wolfpack go back out of the hiding in South Black Sea and set up a trap several dozens of kilometers north of Bosporus. There they utilize the relative depth (average depth of the Black Sea is 1240 meters) to the max with subs awaiting their enemies below thermal layer thus ensuring that no enemy escort’s sonar can detect them. Before the attack they also lay a few self-homing mines at the suspected convoy’s route- the main purpose of such actions is to throw away enemy’s attention, to make them think that the submarines are coming from the right, while actually they’re going to attack the convoy from the left utilizing Wolfpack formation. All four subs participate in the attack, including UV-19 which will utilize it’s vastly suprerior passive sonar to stand guard for other enemy vessels that might try to help the convoy. Should this happen the subs will fire all of the remaining torpedoes programming them to go active the moment they leave the tube and than dive below the layer and away from the fight.

Warriors on the convoy vessels drank their booze, laughed at jokes, gambled, or just checked their weapons, cleaning their guns, sharpening their blades and tightning the nuts on their battlecars, not caring about aspects of naval warfare. Each convoy ship had one warband on board. However, crews of these ships didn't have such luxury. Straits are perfect spots for enemy attacks and bosphorus wasn't an exception. As ususally, the ships on the front have scanned, as crews were rather paranoid due to knowing, that situation in the Black Sea was pretty dangerous and uncertain.

They have managed to detect the naval mines, laid by the enemy, and sent a minesweeper to remove them. What they didn't exactly expect, that Lakan mines would shoot the torpedos. Minesweeper employed the evasive maneuver, but still was damaged by one of the self-homing mine. This threat is gone, but there might be more, thought the convoy captains, and carefully proceeded forward. They didn't suspect about enemy submarines, Wolfpack did a damn good job hiding, and attacking the convoy from the left, causing varied amounts of damages to the escort ships and convoy ship themselves. Most Sky Reavers escort ships retalitated at full force, deploying both regular and improvised depth charges, while convoys ships and together with few escorts splitted into two squadrons and went to different directions. All ships used unpredictable evasive maneuvers. After initial retalitation, they would move forward too, plan for three squadrons is to regroup. Escort ships were only intended to cover the convoy, not win the epic naval battles, so their armaments were not exaclty heaviest top notch.

This Wolfpack's skillful attack had sunk two and damaged four escort ships. Three convoys got damaged, but managed to fix the damages, another one got the worst of it, it's still afloat, but cannot move. While it's crew is trying their best to fix the damages, the other 11 warbands will have to proceed without them. With only seven escort ships left to cover them, and four have varied degrees of damages. Not the best start, that's for sure.

[East Osovia]

East Osovian minesweepers work slowly and cautiously to remove the Lakan mines, making their way from east to west. Little progress has been made so far. However, moored mines captured via contact sweeping have been disarmed and sent back to East Osovia for research purposes. It is expected that any information that these mines could potentially yield will take time to analyze. In the meantime guided missile destroyers are being readied in case Lytrovian naval vessels are detected heading towards East Osovia and Kastrasman PD-3 maritime patrol aircraft are beginning to sweep the seas near East Osovia and the eastern portion of Crimea alongside fighter escorts.

The soldiers waiting at the border start to advance slowly into East Osovian territory. Meanwhile, aircraft and the new Lytrovian Rapid Command (the 1st and 2nd Fleets) begin to bombard ports and naval bases, supported by aircraft. However, other than that, Lytrovia is quiet for now.

The Lytrovian land invasion of East Osovia finds itself gaining very little ground in the northern part of the country due to its heavy fortifications built to repel a potential Russian blitz. Heavy artillery rains down upon the Lytrovian soldiers, who can find very little cover in the vast emptiness of the Pontic-Caspian steppe. Half of the interceptors flying over eastern Crimea are diverted to this new front, and another 50,000 men begin to make their way to the north to combat this intrusion on East Osovian soil.

Meanwhile the People's Council is in an uproar. The New Bolsheviks condemn the National Unity Party for starting this war, meanwhile the Nationalists are furious the Lytrovians would attack East Osovia when it had not (yet) attacked Lytrovia itself and the Social Democrats become split on the issue.

With the invasion of the north, Prime Minister Azster Yorsagra give the military permission to utilize its short and medium range missiles against Lytrovia. Targets include military outposts and installations, communications, infrastructure, and all missile silos (if present in eastern Lytrovia). The government also pushes factories to switch to producing military equipment through grants and increased taxation on non-military good produced. Propaganda campaigns begin comparing Lytrovia to an advancing Soviet Union hellbent on subjugating the East Osovian people.

East Osovia also opens its ports and borders to any militaries supporting the Crimean Rebels and increases its maritime patrol to prevent the mining of its coast.

Xenick has secretly and illegally sent 2 hunting groups of modified Lakan subs, a total of 10 combat submarines. Their mission is to further disrupt rebel supply lines from the sea, and have begun laying a mxiture of large ground and moored mines in frequent rebel supply lines, and submarines have begun prowling the areas, shooting to down minelayers and convoys in their mineclearing period. An incident followed the east osovian increased presence, and a minelayer was critically damaged by a torpedo from hunting group 2, and the group promptly dived erratically and retreated deep into the ocean following the incident to prevent detection or identification. The groups are on standby at the moment.

Navigating through the Black Sea with help of satellites, Sky Reaver forces did their best to avoid mines and combat and eventually, the remaining 11 warbands have come close to the south of Crimea. 12th is severely lagging behind, while being protected by two escort ships, which were moved to it from the main Reaver convoy. With change in situation in Crimea, the plan was altered. Now, Sky Reavers are to land on the south of Crimea instead of the west, and aid the rebels as much as possible. Warriors were glad to finally see the land after a rough journey, where the couldn't do much to help. Their spirits have soared even higher, when they set their feet and battlecars upon the friendly, rebel controlled territories.

Despite being informed, Rebel forces were probably surprised to see, that the military, Sky Reavers sent to them, looks like something between military, insurgents and post-apocalypse raiders, who came from Mad Max. Joint forces of different Sky Reaver factions were a pretty diverse bunch, of people, who looked like metalheads, cowboys, beach style, hippies, insurgents or post apocalypse raiders with various guns and armor. One could know their warband and faction by the looks of them and paintjobs of their vehicles and other assets. For example, soldiers from Brigada Anarquasta Voluntaria looked like more modern version of Spanish Civil War anarchists, or Valhalla Bounded Lodge warriors armor reminded of vikings.

Before Sky Reaver warriors would prove themsleves to the rebels, Warlords John "Four Fingers" asked about intel on the situation and what approach would be the best. In the meantime, the fleet, which delivered this bunch of warriors entered the closest friendly ports for repairs.

While the 12th warband had done well in avoiding Xenickese mines by taking the long route, but they weren't through the thick of it. Not yet. Hunting group 2, which had already seen action in Dihcroan and striking a East Osovian minelayer, had developed an attitude of nonchalant killing. When at the bottom of the sea, above ground intel alerted them to a warband passing through, the crew of the subs were eager to put another notch on their subs, signifying glorious hunt. The subs began silently sneaking at the bottom of the ocean floor, escaping sonar detection. In the bridge of sub no.3, the captain was working tirelessly to communicate effectively with the other 4 subs, as to who gets the first blood. As usual, pack leader no.1 would take the first shot, unless circumstances demanded otherwise. Sub no.3 captain, Samuel Bahariva was ordering 4 and 5 into formation, after they lagged behind, but this was a mere hiccup. After the computer triangulated and gave the order to pull up to the surface area to strike, the captain took a moment to appreciate the manuevrability of Lakan subs. The subs began using communications jamming by breaking airwaves with static bursts, the order to attack began, and they began speeding upwards. The subs were likely detected at this point, but it didn't matter much between the launching of 10s of decoys from the subs, and the erratic mass zigzagging movements. As the decoys popped up alongside the subs at the surface area, the subs were greeted with fire from the two escort ships, that was fortunately diluted by the sychronization of explosive decoys, and the sudden sub strike overwhelming them. The subs immediately all began firing torpedoes at the escorts first, and after employing a steady rate of fire to overwhelm defenses and decoys, the vessels were engulfed in explosions, and promptly sank or turned side. As sailors on the vessels began jumping ship, the submarines began firing on the warband vessels. But hunting group 2 was not one to let it's kill escape, and quickly began destroying the ships with torpedoes, with similar results to the escorts. After the attack, they did what they did best. Left and dissapeared back underwater.

However, it is now absolutely clear the intentions of Lytrovia. How far are we willing to let them go before we acknowledge their greedy ambitions? Shall Lytrovia annex Austria, invade Czechia, and march into Poland before we put an end to such conquests?
