Recent riots have turned violent leading to 100s dead. London has been a centre for these riots which are suspected to be organised by a terrorist group known known as the Fascist War Front. Fighting began earlier today when a group of 18-20 year olds threw homemade molotov cocktails at police officers. It would start becoming increasingly violent with tear gas being deployed which was followed by gunfire. After soldiers were called in, the rioters fled or were arrested. The government has warned the international community about these movements, while it has promised to bring the FWF to justice.

Prime Minister Azster Yorsagra has released a statement on the current Crimean War of Independence / Lytrovian-East Osovian War, seeking to end conflict between the two nations diplomatically and cautioning those who side with Lytrovia to be wary of their intentions:

To the International Community,

Over the past few days, news of war in and around the Crimea has become commonplace. Nations have sent support for whichever side they believe to be in the moral right, or whichever side they believe will profit them most. We understand that we may not share the same convictions as some other nations, but we do not allow such differences to determine who is and is not our enemy.

Like many of you, we too sought to lend aid to a side in this conflict. But unlike other nations, the state of Lytrovia has acted in a rash and violent manner against us. Without warning, without declaration of war, and without attempts at diplomacy, the Lytrovian military has crossed the East Osovian border to wage war on our nation. They may claim this was a "preemptive" strike against a nation threatening their existence, but we can assure you that our only concern was aiding the Crimean people in freeing themselves from a state that has routinely and systematically oppressed them. We did not, and do not, seek to destroy the Lytrovian state, nor radically alter the Lytrovian way of life.

However, it is now absolutely clear the intentions of Lytrovia. From forcibly maintaining the mistreated Crimean people as subjects without consideration of referendum to invading its neighbors without seeking to resolve matters peacefully, there is no other explanation to Lytrovia's actions other than poorly hidden imperialism. How far are we willing to let them go before we acknowledge their greedy ambitions? Shall Lytrovia annex Austria, invade Czechia, and march into Poland before we put an end to such conquests?

We, the Princely Republic of East Osovia, pledge to keep our military out of Lytrovia and the Crimea should Lytrovia cease its invasion of East Osovia. We know it is far better to end this conflict diplomatically, even if not achieving all we desire, than to continue such bloody work and sentence millions of innocent lives to death. However, those who have aligned themselves with Lytrovia should reexamine their friendship with such as bloodthirsty state, lest they may find themselves feeding the next would-be world conqueror.

Who said that they’re denying the evidence? They openly admit it. Lakan populace’s views on human life and it’s importance greatly differ from those you see IRL, even admitting by Waffen SS to Holocaust did little to actually hamper their public support, because they were mainly charged not for mass murders but for the consequences of these murders.
