South Olpen has a difficult decision to be made. Allow the fascist Lakans to dominate the Earth, condemning trillions to life under a dictatorial regime, or starting a war.

No official response comes, but there is suspicion in Xenick that Meretican people are not as enthusiastic to come to the government's aid as they may seem on the TV.

Meanwhile, the Meretican ambassadors are called towards Freedom Building to meet the president at 5 AM and are waken by the police escort, armed to the teeth with high-powered rifles.

Organa, Williams, Jones, and Winthrop are all excited to meet the president. Though they primarily represent the more liberal parts of the Senate, Williams is a noted conservative independent, and one of the few "core conservatives" in the Senate that does not support an isolationist policy dictating that Meretica interferes in other nations but that other nations must not interfere in Meretica. She was also one of the few that opposed eliminating RCV. Organa has been chosen to be the chief speaker.

A leaked intelligence report has made it’s way to the press. Nothing shocking has been revealed, but several references to “Project Clockworks” have gotten the conspiracy nuts talking, as well as cable news. A man named Rob Clarkman is mentioned in the report as the head of Project Clockworks. The Parliamentary Defense Committee has issued a subpoena for him to testify at a hearing.

Given meretican is geographically very close to ZN and eould be extremely easy for an invasion with the hundreds of crossing points. To try and prevent meretican from joing ZN on south oplen nirthern brazzillia(the region near meretican) is prepared for war and tolded if a non-agreesion pact were to be finded including land demilitarized of the border region ZN will pull out.

We have finally arranged for a Lytrovian fishing trawler to have them evacuate the nation at shortest notice. We have gained some info on Meretica, primarily economic weaknesses in tech. We will not be expanding on these vulnerabilities until some situation merits it, but with negotiations ongoing, it would be unwise to destabilize it. Our captured operative has not yet cracked, with communication monitoring not turning anything up. I would also like to suggest looking into South Olpen to find evidence of warmongering to leak to the wider international community.

She also says that she will see what can be done about the captured spy if a new Meretican-Xenickese friendship can be established, so long as the Senate consents.

Is it labeled OOC? Its just generally to anyone doing operation in cavifi and metetican hoping to destroy them. Just because meretican has got info about you and some others doing stuff from earlier. IC: Queen Sinestra announces that she will be joining the Xenickese negotiations. She is welcomed by Senator Organa in particular, who was a close ally to the Dragonheart Family when the nation was less democratic and nobles had more power. Organa's resolve to find common ground is strengthened by the Queen's appearance, regardless of the circumstances.

ISC: The Queen briefs the Xenickese president and Senator Organa on the ongoing situation in the Senate. Fearful that another war (literal, figurative, or otherwise) might break out, the Queen is unsure of which action or actions would be best to maintain the democracy. As a figurehead with practically no real power (other than the abilities to call elections or to begin the impeachment of the president), her faith in democracy has been shaken by recent events at home and abroad. Laka and others are, quite frankly, major threats to democracy. Even democratic nations like IHS and SM are, in the eyes of the Mereticans, plutocrats and oligarchs that are trying to maintain what power they can.

The Olpenese MoC, Ms. Sorit makes a speech about the condemnation. Experts believe that, while important for foreign issues, it was mostly to keep her popularity up.

"The Nytoans have condemned us for fighting, and almost bringing death for what we thought was right, I ask them for they're opinion on limiting what a women might be able to wear, or how about deciding what happens with the deceased after they die. For heavens sake, they claim the right to WMD's. Now, I am opposed to these policies, but I will not make the nation of SO condemn Nytoa. Why? Because they, even if from a twisted perspective, believe these acts to be morally right. I will not command a nation who I do not have a reason too try to influence. Now, they might say I shouldn't have tried to influence Zarnicova Nova, but I had a flurry of reasons too. Not only they're persecution of those with the wrong religion, but with allying with a dictatorial, fascist, state. And check I think the Nytoans should follow our lead. Good day folks."
