Mereticans aren't quite sure what to make of this-- on the one hand, Laka is a valuable ally and is already on good terms with Meretica, but on the other SM might try to twist this as Meretica pulling dictatorships together to oppose democracy. For now, the Senate tables the offer, as there are currently events going on in the background that require their attention.

The Southeast Marajarbian Government has just announced that it has signed a trade deal with the nation of Sanhana. This means that Sanhana has officially joined the Silver Pathway, as a trading partner now (sort of) involved in the NWO. The government plans to sign a few more trade deals, including one with Romextly, in order to be able to continue planning out the NWO. The Government is also making logistical moves to purchase trucks and Aircraft Carriers from Allanean Defense Exports, and mass produce more and more container ships. Rail terminals are to be constructed in Canada, alongside major rail terminals to connect the Corrington-East Hun Chu line to other destinations, and moves are also being made to secure a relationship with Galimencia if possible. It is also being planned to send ambassadors to the ICDN to begin open negotiations on the New World Order, and the role that the ICDN will play in ensuring stable and true democracies gain power, while removing more and more regimes.
