It was a pleasant day in Northumbria at the president's official residence, Bamburgh Castle. Outside, the sun was shining. But inside, President Alvin Ashleigh was plotting for war with Denmark. Northumbria's top generals were gathered around the war table, discussing and planning strategies for the invasion, when Ashleigh arrived in the room and joined them at the table as they rose and saluted to note his presence.

Ashleigh saluted back. "Gentlemen, we have decided that we can plan no longer. The invasion of Denmark must begin immediately. Our inspectors have searched the museums of Denmark, and they have found weapons of mass destruction: longships. In the event of a planned attack on Northumbria, some of these longships would be ready within 45 minutes of an order to use them. This is an imminent threat," said the president. "Map, please," he gestured to an aide. The aide rolled out a map. "This is the general strategy we have decided," Ashleigh said.



"We will first attack the Oksbøl firing range and training area, quickly moving to secure Esbjerg. The Danes will not be expecting this. Meanwhile, an airstrike will destroy the bridge at Hvide Sande, allowing for an attack into the Ringkobing Fjord, where we will secure the Stauning airfield. We will also land on the beaches further up the coast. Finally, we will land at Hanstholm and Hirsthals in North Jutland.

As the invasion preparations were being finalised, Alvin Ashleigh was delivered the message. Upon hearing what the Secretary-General of the Pan-Asiatic States had to say, he laughed. "'Negotiate'? The time for negotiating over any 'diplomatic tensions' is over; it is time for the Danes to face the consequences of their actions. It is time for Northumbria to do what is necessary."

Meanwhile, the Danish prime minister immediately accepted the Secretary-General's proposal, knowing that their country could not hope to stand up against Northumbrian might.

The Northumbrian fleet in the North Sea received the orders. As the fleet moved closer to shore and the landing craft were readied, the planes took off to strike the bridge at Hvide Sande and other military targets.

[Pan-Asiatic States]

Following remarks that have been considered as "credible threats" by the Pan-Asiatic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary-General has approved a directive which states that all Asians who are still in Denmark, particularly those who are in the country for non-essential reasons, are encouraged to consider leaving by commercial means at the earliest possible time. Non-combatant government-sanctioned commercial convoys will also be provided for those lacking in finances to retreat via airborne transportation, though they will be accommodating natural born citizens of the Pan-Asiatic States only. Asians who are planning to visit Denmark are advised to defer their travel until the situation becomes more stable.

"I continue to urge the Northumbrian state to abide by international law, and settle their dispute with the Danish government through peaceful arbitration. I urge others, both my fellow countrymen and the peace-loving people of Northumbria to join me in making this protestation against actions that could lead to the deaths of many innocent Danish peoples," Secretary-General Guanyu Abramovich Jr. told the press in an open video address to Northumbrian Premier Alvin Ashleigh this evening.

The Executive Council (EC) was reported by state media in a follow-up communique to have been summoned for an emergency session by the Secretary-General scheduled for tomorrow morning GMT+8 in order to discuss the current volatile situation in the Northern European region. As of now, however, the Pan-Asiatic States has been declared neutral to the conflict by the Secretary-General, although the forthcoming conference between the Pan-Asiatic States' executives may change this position.

The deliberation on the situation between Northumbria and Denmark began at 1PM GMT+8 this afternoon, behind closed doors, at the Supreme Chamber of Peoples' Deputies. The State-Presidents, despite the fact that some became late for the conference due to air traffic, weather conditions, and other reasons, convened in full attendance in the presence of the Secretary-General to discuss and vote on possible courses of action that will aid in the resolution of the current conflict. It is expected that a desiscion will be reached, and decided upon, later today.

As the landing craft set out, the Danish coastline came into view of the Northumbrian pilots piloting the planes. Having faced no resistance from the Royal Danish Air Force, they performed a quick fly-past over Hvide Sande, waking many sleeping Danes wondering what the noise was. Following this, they bombed the bridge. Due to it being the middle of the night and the honourable Northumbrians trying to avoid collateral damage despite being sure the Danes would not extend the same courtesy, there were no casualties. Half an hour later, Northumbrian speedboats rushed through the ruins of the bridge on their way to land near the airfield.

Meanwhile, at the Oksbøl firing range and training area, some Danish soldiers were training when they saw the Northumbrians land on the beach. They quickly fled to warn their superiors of what was going on, while the Northumbrians took over the area and prepared to set out for Esbjerg following a break for stotties from the Greggs attached to their unit. At the ports of Hanstholm and Hirsthals in North Jutland, Northumbrian soldiers were already landing...

The Executive Council released its ruling at 7:06 PM GMT+8 today reaffirming the Pan-Asiatic States' neutrality to the conflict. The Pan-Asiatic States has, however, ruled that Northumbria's actions constitute a hostile invasion of another sovereign state and that it must cease and desist its actions or risk its relationship not only with the Pan-Asiatic States but also that of the world's democracies. The Pan-Asiatic States continues to call upon all sides currently participating in military actions to observe human rights, uphold international conventions on warfare, and consider coming to the negotiating table. Particularly, the Pan-Asiatic States commends Denmark's steadfast commitment to ending the conflict, and urges Northumbria to exhibit the same spirit.

Secretary-General Abramovich has recommended to the Federal Congress of Soviets that a discussion on extending the sanctions currently imposed on Northumbria as part of its general campaign against the Great Patriotic Pact be added to tomorrow's agenda. Several public figures within the Congress of Soviets have already praised the Secretary-General's initiative in proposing such an action and many internal factions have already voiced their support as well as stated that they are drafting a more extensive list of political and economic sanctions on the rouge Northern European country of Northumbria.

The Executive Council voted this afternoon to place trade sanctions on the Northumbrian timber, mining, and automobile industries until they cease and desist in their occupation of Hanstholm and Hirsthals in North Jutland. The vote succeeded unanimously, and the Executive Council released a statement calling the Northumbrian military action a dangerous precedent for conflict in the Northern European region. The Executive Council stated that while the Pan-Asiatic States does not wish to deliberately damage its relationship with Northumbria, it cannot in good faith turn a blind eye to the aggression they have shown in the region; and that the sanctions would not be lifted until Northumbria agrees to a cessation of hostilities, withdraws from the territories they have occupied in sovereign Danish territory, and comes to the negotiating table with the government of Denmark.

Later, the Pan-Asiatic Ministry of Foreign Affairs (PAMFA) apologized for the clerical error in mistaking Northumbria's membership in the Great Patriotic Pact but remains steadfast in maintaining the position adopted by the Executive Council regarding the current tensions in the region.

Due to the offensive actions taken against the Kingdom of Denmark by Northumbria, Prime Minister Erna Solberg has authorized the mobilization of the Norwegian Armed Forces in response and to defend their long-time ally. Mobilization will be placed into effect immediately, beginning with altered Naval formations in the North Sea.

* The Royal Norwegian Navy has authorized the deployment of 6x Ula-Class Submarines, 5x Fridtjof-Class and 6x Skjold-Class Corvettes to the North Sea, forming a loose defensive pattern to protect Norwegian territorial waters.

* The Norwegian Air Force mobilizes the 131st Air Wing, 132nd Air Wing, and the 333rd Squadron to fly patrol missions near the Navy's deployment zone. F-16 Fighting Falcons, F-35 Lightning IIs, and Eurofighter Typhoons will be flying sorties in the North Sea and ranging up into the Norwegian Sea. The Air Force's 4x C-130Js will be coordinating with Army forces.

* The Norwegian Army will fully mobilize, bringing in all reserve forces and equipment from storage. The Army's Armored Battalion, 2nd Battalion, Artillery Battalion, Combat Engineer Battalion, and Special Operations Group will be coordinating with Air Force support for deployment to Denmark.

* The Norwegian Home Guard will be mobilizing in full, with the first wave of 20,000 to be deployed to home defensive postings first, followed by 20,000 for possible Danish deployment.

Following this, 15,000 soldiers, 70 aircraft and 10 vessels are sent to invade Denmark, landing on Zealand to overwhelm the defences. Their plan is to hold onto the island before Norwegian troops can arrive.

Due to distance, the amount of ships are limited, with the 10 vessels due to arrive in 2 weeks. However, supply aircraft and transport aircraft are able to arrive, so the forces are ordered to make a base where planes may land.

With domestic affairs escalating, this will be the only action for now.

The Republic of Finland condemns both the Lytrovian and Northumbrian governments for their invasions of Denmark. In response, the Finnish prime minister, President and government will be weighing options on mobilizing military forces to assist Norway in defending Denmark.

Following the hostilities to the historically good natured Denmark, the CANZUK parliament has decided overwhelmingly to assist them with 68% in favour. In support, a taskforce of 15,000 soldiers are to reinforce Lytrovian soldiers. They are to arrive in two days.

HM North American Government considers itself supporting the suppression of the Northumbrian insurrection, the confounding of its domestic and foreign support in the Mother Country, and for supporting the restoration of the appropriate sovereign power in Great Britain.

The Peoples Republic of Joyea condemns this act of aggression against the peaceful nation of Denmark. We no longer consider the government of Northumbria to be a legitimate governing power but rather a rogue state. If it is deemed necessary the Joyean government will deploy military forces in aid of the government of Denmark.

Shawn Bjornson was sitting in his chair, playing Stellaris and smoking weed. After some time, he decied to look at the news feed. Usual stuff, oil getting more expensive, some trouble in the Middle East, stock market doing things, some drug mule got caught in Germany... scandal over some TikTok blogger doing stupid things... and Nationalist Northumbria invades Denmark... Boring stuff... Wait... Nationalist Northumbira invades Denmark?! Realizing, this is true, Shawn calls for an emergency council meeting. Soon after, the council gathers and starts discussing this affair.

With the fact, that Northumbria banned video games, council's decision wasn't exaclty in favor of Alvin. It took one minute to pick Denmark's side, and Shawn Bjornson issued a statement, while the warbands for military aid were quickly assembled.

We have recieved news, that Denmark is attacked and the invaders are total assholes, who ban video games and just screw over their people, hereby, we gonna send our fine warriors to aid Denmark in this dark time and help their military to fend off the foreign aggressors.

Denmark - We know about the invasion and have sent 15 warbands to aid you during the war. They are coming your way, stand strong and hold the line, fight like your brave viking ancestors! May Odin see you through this! Til Valhall!

Roughly 9000 warriors in 15 combined arms warbands, led by Aspiring Warlord Ulysses "Five Bullets" were sent by convoy to the Denmark. On their way, they are preparing to fight, cleaning their guns and sharpening the blades.

[Two Mexicos]

The foreign ministry of the Kingdom of the Two Mexicos must condemn this unprovoked invasion of a sovereign country in the strongest of possible terms. When pressed by the media, the minister stated that Mexican wars against the Anglos and the Central American states constitute reconquest of illegitimate seized territory, and that the Kingdom of the Two Mexicos would never accept any offensive war that has no such basis.

The Crown has elected to once again set the Gulf of Mexico on fire for a period of several hours, threatening to do the same in the north sea if a peaceful resolution to the conflict is not reached soon.

[Peoples Republic of Joyea]

Secret In character:
After no reply or any sort of attempt at diplomacy and no end in sight for the invasion the Joyean State Security Service readied 30 men from the Special Actions Group or SAG. SAG is one of most secretive and feared special operations units in the world. They specialize in sabotage, assassination, psychological operations, and regime change operations. They boarded a G.222 aircraft and were sent to Northumbria. After about 6 hours the aircraft was refueled by a KC-135. The aircraft continued for about 4 more hours before the 30 operatives were given the order:

"Stand in the door!"
"GO! GO! GO!"
The operatives began jumping off the plane and their parachutes deployed. Most of them landed in some farm fields. Once they all landed they met in a clearing all of the crops. Their mission was to secretly produce and distribute anti Northumbrian propaganda in the capital of Bamburgh. The SAG operatives readied their MP5SDs and Makarov PB pistolsand headed to the nearest town. "Sir the nearest town is 14 kilometers to the north, we won't be able to secure transportation before dawn." said sgt. Nikolai Kossuth. "Well we need to try, if we have to we will steal cars from the highway." Said Commander Nikita Ivanov. They started waking through the crops and through the forests until the reached a high way. Next to it was a forest where they could remain concealed until they reach a town. They walked about 20 feet away from it. At about 5:30 the sun was just barely coming up and the operatives reached the town. They were sent out 5 at a time to take a car from a business or home. After about 20 minutes all of the operatives were in a car and had put on a pari of civilian clothes that they had brought. The operatives began there long journey to the capital where they could finally begin their mission.

In Character:
Today the Peoples Supreme Parliament of Joyea has placed trade restrictions on the Northumbrian state and has issued an order that all Joyean citizens in Northumbria are to return as soon as possible. Nothing may be imported to Joyea or exported to Northumbria. The Revolutionary Military Council has also put 300,000 personnel on standby meaning they are to be ready to deploy to Denmark in a moments notice. We are also preparing bombers and other aircraft for combat. 3 Aircraft carriers are also being prepared for deployment along with 2 Joyea class dreadnaughts and a single Hood class superdreadnaught along with numerous other vessels (cruisers, destroyers, corvettes, etc).
