The King reopens Parliament and following an Act of Parliament, the Durham Constabulary Rifles is formed, a paramilitary section of the Durham Constabulary.
It recruits recently ex-soldiers age over the age of eighteen and under the age of sixty prioritising those who are temporarily unemployed.
It doesn’t recruit people with unspent convictions nor anyone who has ever been imprisoned for violent offence.
