Prime Minister James Jordan, leader of the Liberty and Democracy Party, a centre-left, social democratic party, has announced a bid for re-election. He currently leads an unstable coalition with the Sierra Novalisian Bigtopian Unity Party, an ethnic-nationaist and communist organization.
LOP Gina Cortez, leader of the Novalis Party, a centre-right, Novalisian nationalist party calling for the full "capitalization" of the economy challenges the coaltiion as rumors swirl of a possible collapse. Tensions are rising in the 2 million strong Bigtopian-Novalisian split city of Ostlandia, and Novalisian nationalist activity has been rising.
The Bigtopia Special Cultural and Ethnic Region has been cracking down on the Novalisian minority, leading to a tense election as voters go to the polls during millitary occupation in some polling stations.

Reports of ethnic rioting in Ostlandia are coming into the Leader's office, and we have heard estimates of between 50-100 causualities from a single massacre of Lilputian and Novalisian civilians by the Bigtopian Liberation Front.
Election results are expected to come in during this atmosphere.

Lilliputians and Novalisians have formed an "ethnic" alliance of sorts, as the Novalis Party and Lilliputian Representation Committee have signed an Accord of Joint Defense from the Bigtopian Threat.
Our reporters on the ground have witnessed the beating of Novalisians on the streets as they leave work, and sometimes, organized massacres with weapons supplied by the Bigtopian Unity Party's millitary wing, the Bigtopian Liberation Front.
Prime Minister James Jordan, desperately trying to hold onto his position as the Leader's figurehead preceeding elections, has only sent in troops as peacekeepers, as he seeks to maintain an ethnic-neutral coalition.
The Prime Minister himself, however, is apart of the sizable German minority, which takes up around 1/4 of Sierra Novalis's population.
Even the small amount of peacekeepers being sent are not deflaming tensions, as the BLF commits violent acts of sabotage against the Sierra Novalisan State Security Committee and the Sierra Novalis Self-Defense Force.
The Parliament is expected to meet for a special session to discuss ethnic tensions, which may invoke the wrath of the Bigtopian Unity Party and cause a delegate walkout.

James Jordan, Prime Minister and leader of the Liberty and Democracy Party, has scored a landslide victory, taking 500 out of the 800 seats, a majority of 99. This is mainly due to the extraordinary popularity of the new Liberty and Democracy Front. However, Raul Mathis, leader of the Bigtopian Unity Party, has called for solidarity marches across the country to protest so-called "electoral fraud". The Bigtopian Unity Party lost 100 of their seats, only winning 50.
Reports of rioting across the Bigtopian Cultural Special Region in Northern Sierra Novalis are coming in, and we cannot confirm or deny internet videos showing the destruction of Novalisian and Lilliputian businesses across Bigtopia.

We have confirmed reports of the Bigtopian Liberation Army initiating arson attacks against Novalisian-owned businesses in the capital city of Ostlandia. 201 have been killed in terrorist attacks throughout the past month. Prime Minister James Jordan has introduced a resolution dissolving the Bigtopian Cultural Special Region in response to the violence and sending in the troops, but it is fervently opposed by half of his party and the Bigtopian Unity Party, who are threatening to walk out of parliament if Sierra Novalis does not withdraw from Bigtopia and grant it further autonomy.

Federal
At the behest of Prime Minister Jordan, the Authorization for Use of Military Force against Internal Ethnic Uprisings was enacted 401-0, with all Bigtopian delegates walking. The remaining delegates, and the Prime Minister, were forced to evacuate as mobs of Bigtopians surrounded the capitol, preparing to enter and possibly kill those inside. A new capital has been temporarily established at Sierra Novalis City as the Sierra Novalisian Self-Defense Force desperately tries to hold back the protestors and BLA.
Bigtopia
The Bigtopian Special Committee has responded to the authorization by ordering a referendum on secession. The Bigtopian Liberation Army is now expelling all Novalisians and Lilliputians from it's land, and it is unknown what happens to cases of refusal. The BLA, backed by civilian protestors, has seized the capital city, Ostlandia.
Novalis
The Novalis Party, and it's military wing, the Novalis People's Defense Force, have allied with the Sierra Novalis Self-Defense Force, helping refugees from Bigtopia settle in Lilliputia and Novalis, and preventing the capture of Bigtopian majority cities within Sierra Novalis.
Lilliputia
As Lilliputia is limited to a small island and a small coastal area, little conflict is taking place. However, thousands of refugees are entering the region as we type this update.

We have a breaking report out of Novalis. Sierra Novalisian forces have begun air raids on occupied parts of Bigtopia after reports were released claiming that the rebels are committing ethnic cleansing. Prime Minister Jordan is requesting international assistance to end the "war crimes" being committed by the Bigtopian Liberation Army.
