Port Said wasn’t Cairo, but it was still a big city. They had to be careful not to be caught. They looked around, Muhammad wearing a mask and suit and Shaheeda wearing a burqa. They then made their way across the crowded street and tried to make their way to the port itself.

They were supposed to meet my two agents.

(I thought they were meeting all the Jamesian, Romextly, Langenian agents at the port?)

"You know Fazluddin and the people who want him disappeared better than any of us. How should we proceed?"

Ayesha sighed.
“There are A LOT of people who would want Fazluddin gone: Abdul-Aziz and Asim, for starters, but also Gibraltar’s governor, Jessica, as well as the Italians and the Spanish. It’s gonna be hard to figure who exactly took him. But we’re gonna have to try.”
She pulled up Taranto on Google Maps.
“Fazluddin disappeared here. We need to figure out which dignitaries or troops were in or around it at the time and if they had access to the conference’s general area.”

"Perfect, then this is where we shall start!" Iên exclaims, clapping his hands together. "Let's split up and cover more ground. Each of us will have four marines with us at all times, so that we don't have any...repeat incidents. Among these marines will be a radioman, so that we can keep in touch on a more secure frequency."

Insaanistan wrote:“Sit down,” Asim said, motioning towards the seat across from him. “I have prepared tea for this occasion.”
He sat up in his seat. “I have full intentions of establishing ties with Gongsi: the only nation in the conflict that not openly against us. But, first I’d like to hear from you: what does Gongsi wish to secure.

"I would be a fool if I said Gongsi did not seek to gain anything from such a relationship," Ms. Long replies, taking a seat across the way from Asim. "There are many benefits to such a friendship, but the two biggest ones that stick out to me are Gongsi's relative lack of allies and the damaged faith in our government that former president Kim Ngienkong inflicted on the Muslims in our nation."

Accepting tea from Asim, she continues.

"There is no doubt that the tyranny of Kim Ngienkong has severely injured our nation. We have been in isolation for so long, and before that we refused to take a side in the Russo-American Cold War. Our friends and alliances are few and far between, and it has come time for us to become sociable once more." Ms. Long takes a sip of her tea. "Especially with the now looming threat of Chinese hegemony"

"But, more than isolation, the Kim regime oversaw the persecution and deaths of far too many Muslims in Gongsi. The Muslim Malays of our nation see our government as Chinese and Christian, when this couldn't be further from the truth. We have so far failed to prove ourselves worthy of their trust. It is our hope that if we show that we are willing to help Muslims both inside and outside of our borders, then perhaps we can find reconciliation."

The ambassador puts her cup down, interlocking her fingers and leaning forward. "But what about you? What is your vision for Insaanistan, and what are your thoughts on our current predicament?"

Asim nodded.
“I see.” He took a sip of tea. “Well, I intend to make Insaanistan a strong Muslim state. However, you’ve likely notice I’ve relaxed my policies against non-Muslims. They’re frankly not much of an internal threat. Now, I need to maintain a strong military presence because terrorists are starting to pop up all over the map. I also need to get our economy back in order: we’ve slid from 2nd in GDP to now 23rd. So, trade is of great importance to us. You’re current situation is troubling. You’re probably the best ally we have thus far outside of the Middle East. I’m more that willing to strike a deal with Gongsi.”

“Islam is the one true religion of God. It means ‘peaceful submission to God’. It is the religion of Adam, Noah, Lot, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and every prophet in between. It is a religion that preaches equality of the races the sexes. It is the religion for mankind.

I intend to have Islam be the basis for our laws. For example, it is illegal to sell alcohol or pork to a Muslim, rape is punishable by death, no one can be discriminated against on the basis or race or sex, etc etc.”

Muhammad looked behind them. “Don’t look now,” he whispered to Shaheeda, “but we’re being followed.”
Shaheeda turned anyway. It was true: two men were walking not far behind them, clearly attempting to appear disinterested in them whenever they turned towards them.
Asim’s men! Shaheeda thought to herself.
Desperately, she looked around for somewhere they could hide, but she found none. Suddenly, she noticed a truck turn the corner and park. She got a glimpse of the license plate before it turned the corner and immediately knew whom it belonged to.
“We just gotta get to the corner,” she whispered to Muhammad. He nodded, and they began walking quicker and quicker to put some distance between them and their pursuers. The two men began picking up the pace. Shaheeda and Muhammad continued to walk faster and faster, and the two men behind them began to run towards them. They grabbed the two by the arm and tried to lead them away. Shaheeda did the first thing that came to mind.
“Help! We’re being robbed!”
The men had hoped that since they were in an area with no one else at the time taking the two would have been easy. However, they were quickly proven wrong when people began to gather and yell at the men. They tried to come up with an explanation but that quickly went out the window when some of the citizens who had gathered began pulling out pistols.

The two men let go of Shaheeda and Muhammad, casting them a nasty look, before heading off. After the city dwellers asked them a million times if they were okay and one or two of the merchants handed them some food, they went on their way and approached the truck parked there.

Muhammad looked at the agents seated inside.
“White guys? What are you? Americans? English?”
“Wrong dimension, Muhammad,” Shaheeda mumbled.

"I thought as much, I just needed assurance that I was correct."

Ambassador Long brings her briefcase up into her lap, opens it, and begins procuring several documents from within.

"The only other concern that I believe we need to address is the war. Specifically, the possibility of its swift conclusion."

She hands Asim a small packet of several papers.

"These are transcriptions of the earlier peace conference. As you can see, there are a few immutable points that are required for peace to be had with the Coalition, namely the release of Italy, Gibraltar, and most of Iberia. My peer, Iên Limsung, has done a decent job tilting the scales to weigh slightly more in Insaanistan's favor, helping push for referendums in most heavily Muslim areas like Granada and Sicily. Unfortunately, I do not think we can tip the scales any further without risking losing all progress we have obtained so far."

Ms. Long sits back in her chair, fingers interlocked once more. "I must know what you are capable of accepting to secure peace in Insaanistan. Gongsi cannot help you beat back a foe as numerous and powerful as this militarily. If we are to align ourselves with Insaanistan the war must end."

“White guys? What are you? Americans? English?”
“Wrong dimension, Muhammad,” Shaheeda mumbled.

“Don’t be alarmed, We want to help you. Edward Winters.” Eddie said. “Aaron Grimes, and your sister is right. We are Jamesians. Our mission is to help you get to safety while we wait to figure out how to rescue your family and restore it to power. Don’t be afraid.” Aaron said.

“I’m not his sister,” she said.
“Thank God for that,” he muttered. Shaheeda promptly stomped on his foot. The two hopped in the truck.
“You know where the port is?” Shaheeda asked the two men. “We’ve got to hurry. Asim already knew we were missing but he definitely knows we’re in Port Said.”

Asim tapped his forefinger on the desk repeatedly, patiently listening to what Long had to say, while occasionally glancing over at the transcripts.
“Long, are you familiar with the Partition of India and Pakistan?” he asked. He had a map in his office and he stood up, walked towards it, and pointed to the subcontinent. “The British finally left the region in ‘47, but not only did they Partition it along religious lines, they left some regions up for vote. Only some.”
He pointed to Kashmir. “Kashmir was Muslim majority but ruled by Hindu elites. The elites wanted India, the populace rather preferred Pakistan. In the end, war broke out time and time again.”
He moved his finger father south. “Hyderabad. Hindu majority but large Muslim population. Heck, even has a Muslim name. It took it a while to decide whom to join and it inevitably chose India.”
He turned back to Long. “My point is, as... Ayesha,” he said distastefully, “told Iên, and as a nu,her of representatives agreed, the entirety of the peninsulas’s provinces and states and regions but have referendums for it to be a true democratic vote. The most prepared part of Italy for a vote is Districta Roma (Rome), and the most prepared part of Iberia at present is Sevilla.”

Against his rational sense and defying his superiors order, he had followed the two royals. He felt as though even if he denied contact them, it would go not so well and could lead to a court martial that could disown him and "terminate" him. He managed to buy a ATV and surveillance drone from his contact and set out 1 mile out from them. Whenever they had stopped, he had sent the drone over to watch them from above, an unobtrusive view.

The journey had been smooth and the royals had gotten to Port Said. Runihura had called a known royal sympathizer to grant them journey on his boat, and he had paid for it out of his pocket. But suddenly, the drone noticed movement and he saw the royals running from two men, American from a glimpse of them, He entered the city, with pistol and SMGs hidden under his tunic. He looked around where he last saw them and skulked around the pathways.

He was moving along, when an Insaani soldier noticed him.
"You!" he said in Arabic. "Stop! What do you have there?"

Runihura knew he had to create a distraction or anything to stop the soldier from searching him. Thinking fast, he unsheathed a hidden knife from his boot and flung it at the soldier. The knife struck the neck and the soldiers stopped and looked down at his neck in confusion. There was bright red blood coming out the wound. Runihura quickly arrived there and pulled out the knife. He then checked the pulse of the soldier which was still going steady. He cleansed the wound and put a bandage on hit to stop the bleeding. He also tied a cloth on the soldiers mouth and called an ambulance as a citizen.

He then returned to his search. After 20 minutes, he began to lose hope, but at that moment, he turned around a dusty street corner and saw them both. He covered his face and watched them from afar. The two Americans looked as if they were to help, but Runihura had his doubt. He decided to risk it and wrote down his information.

Shaheeda. This is Runihura. I have managed to secure you passage to a boat leading to a Langenian controlled area. The ships name is Amal Kabir. The ship captain's name is Batal. He is a friendly and may help in a pickle. You may share this with your American friends, but be wary around them. I will stay with you from a distance until the Langenians pick you up. You will say you never met me. Goot luck, and take care of Mohammed

He fired the message tied to a dart. He aimed carefully, just 3 feet from Shaheeda and fired the dart. He then scurried away.

“Hey, Eddie!” she called to the Jamesian agent. “I think I found out the ship we’re gonna take!”
She looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Runihura, but he seemed to be already gone. Smiling, she mouthed “thank you” in the direction the dart had come anyway. She hopped back into the truck and told Aaron and Edward to look for a ship named Amal Kabir.

We’re almost here prepare for the rendezvous.
The truck continued to towards the docks. From here the two would be taken to Langenia. Who knows how safe they will be but the farther they are from Insaanistan (Any Insaanistan) the safer. It is hard to believe that the country that spanned two continents and seemed to be a beacon of stability to the Arab and African world had descended into the chaos that has become Insaanistan. However this could be restored in due time.

The two looked outside for soldiers. There were none at the docks, and only four police officers, stationed far enough they wouldn’t be able to see the two. Shaheeda turned to Aaron and Eddie.
“Thank you. God be with you,” she said.
“Peace be upon you,” Muhammad told him, stepping out of the truck. The docks were busy enough that they blended in quickly. Wading through the sea of people going to and from the boats, they made their way to the Amal Kabir. They looked at each other and nodded slightly as they boarded. They had made it to the ship, but they were far from out of the woods. They needed to find Captain Batal.
It was then they realized that they had no clue whatsoever what Batal looked like.
“Just our luck,” Muhammad muttered. “Your friend didn’t think this through, did he?”
“Shut up and be greatful, you stupid idiot,” she said, marching up.
“What kinda insult is ‘stupid idiot’?” he mumbled. Noticing she lad left him alone, he quickly ran to catch up with her.
After asking around for a while, they finally found the captain.
“Salaam,” they both said upon coming face to face with him.

Ministry of National Defense building, Aragon, Langenia

Today a press conference was held by the General Staff of the Langenian Armed Forces in the Ministry National Defense building in Aragon. They announced they would temporarily cease bombing DPRI targets due to the fact that Asim's regime had ended persecution of minorities like Christians and Jews. For now. However, the military officers also elaborated that Operation Thunder Eagle would continue targeting other terrorist targets, such as al-Qaeda and ISIS, that continued to operate in the Maghreb. Furthermore, they warned that if minorities were once again persecuted the DPRI would be targeted again. They ended on the conference by announcing they would seek a temporary ceasefire with the DPRI.

Presidential Palace, Aragon, Langenia

Furia picked up the black phone on his desk and dialed the Presidential Palace in Muslimbol. He knew that Asim wouldn't know who was calling, so he would inevitably pick up. Some seconds were spent in tense silence, before it became apparent that the DPRI leader had picked up. Furia promptly greeted him. "Good day. I am the President of Langenia, and I have a proposal, Asim," he said curtly.

The two Langenian National Navy C-30 multirole fighters circled over the streets of Port Said, their engines rumbling as they radioed back to their carrier that the packages had been picked up by the Jamesians. Meanwhile at the pick-up zone in the desert Cuzco 1 rendezvous zone the Langenian agents waited, their fingers on the triggers of their guns, the pilots of the Chinook helicopter alert and ready.
