Allied Governments wrote:As the tanks get ever nearer, the Praetorians ready their trap, men on the top of some rooftops arm and lock onto the tanks and IFV's. Praetorian snipers aim at officers in the ranks of the approaching radicals, and some Praetorian Infantry ready grenades. "On my mark" Jeremiah whispered,
"One"
"Two"
(The first of the IFV's begin passing by their positions, Radicals following behind them)
"Three"
(The Infantry holding grenades pull the 4 second pins)
"MARK!"
Jeremiah presses a button on his arm which submits a synchronized "fire" order to all soldiers, twenty anti-tank gunners on top of the buildings let their missiles loose as snipers fire directly at radical officers, the two second cooked Marv IV "Inferno" Incendiary grenades are thrown at the masses of troops, and the Praetorian Guardsmen open fire at any exposed radicals.
OOC: What part of the city is this, the East side?
All of the IFVs and two of the T-64s immediately burst up in flames, as the horde of fanatics panicked when the incendiary grenades burst. The attackers suddenly become the attacked, and the whole column turned into a frenzied traffic jam. The surviving T-64 started reversing, and crushed one of their own soldiers in the process, and pointed at the praetorians with its flood light, both to blind the enemy and help the disorganized fanatics with finidng targets. The rest of the soldiers started firing chaotically at the rooftops with their machineguns.
However, the crew of the Merkava kept their heads cool and reeled back in a more controlled way, then started using its CROWS BRG-15 machinegun to fire at the Praetorians, whose locations were given off more easily by hot gunbarrels. The BRG-15 was an extremely powerful machinegun, being capable of piercing even APC armor up to 1000 meters away. The walls of the buildings would not hinder it.
"Seems the organization of your troops is already falling apart" Zhtakov said
"This is just the beggining, general" Falabi replied, looking trough a large set of binoculars "Begin bombardment. They will not find this as easy as they think it's gonna be" The spotters for the artillery positions were also looking at the city below, and started giving coordinates for their mortar crews, who began firing onto the Allied positions on the rooftops.
