The ACs intercepted most of the missiles and they started acting like a shield to the suicide boats, helping them get in range to the Aurelian navy. Seeing that the corvettes were busy, the IE sent helicopters and missile boats to sink them while they were searching for subs. The subs used ECM to evade radar and sonar.
