It was a sweltering day in the Nordennavig Senate.

Among elaborate carpets, dense desks and sprawls of paper, a bespectacled woman was reading over the bill.

Mrs Harda was trying to read out a bill that would decide the country's stance on the Belkan War.

She had won the election on the ticket of restoring Nordennavig's greatness in the world via military interventions and the distribution of its gifts to its citizens eight years ago, despite much resistance from the political establishment.

Her party, the Nordennavigan Party of Justice, had managed to sweep the election in 2012 with 78% of the vote due to her opponents managing to get embroiled in several scandals and being unable to field a coherent message.

In the next election, despite improved economic performance and a revitalization of the ailing manufacturing sector, her party had lost much of its lead due to voters being increasingly worried about the fact that her actions had threatened the neutrality it had for the past couple of years.

This has led to the NPJ only getting 47.1%, forcing it to collaborate with the National Nordennvigan Front, a small nationalist party holding only 3.9% which aims to "purify the country of immigrant scum".

Now amidst the strong domes, luxuriant carpets and tropical hardwood desks overflowing with reams of paperwork, Mrs Harda attempts to push forward her bill.

The Belkan War Bill of 2020 was created as a way to appease the NNF by forcing the police and army to evict any and all civillians of enemy heritage in the case of war as well as guarenteeing recognition and support of Belka's actions.

Currently, sentiment lies against the Bill at 70% against it as many in her own party believe that the bill will lead to a dangerous precedent of a dictatorship similar to that in Belka as well as allegations that the NNF was funded by it.

If implemented, Nordennavig will enter the war in the side of Belka. Otherwise, neutrality will be guarenteed in this conflict.

It is a cold day in dinismark winter has finally arrived, the population lives calmly more attentive in case of bombing, voices are heard from within parliament there is a debate on the bill 4478/2020 which is the increase of government funds for the forces armed. The Opposition says it is time to enter into a peace deal and the government’s base says that increased funding will make allied forces quickly surrender.

At the time that the debate would enter a climate of tension, the silence was quickly consumed. The siren of an Allied bombing was coming. It is time to enter the shelter and wait for what we will see after the bombing.

The results had come through from Parliament: the Belkan Bill has been defeated by a majority of 80%.

It has come out that the moderate wing of the NPJ had voted against the bill due to parallels being compared between its content aiming to detain enemy citizens and the measures that had led Belka to its collapse in the 1990s, resulting in a weaker nation unable to compete.

This has left only Mrs. Harda's allies and the NNF voting for the bill, resulting in a blow to her platform for a greater Nordennavig.

In order to prevent the NPJ from fracturing, Mrs. Harda has agreed to put Mr. Manos, Finance Minister since 2018 as her successor in the 2028 election.

As a result, Nordennavig prepares a new pathway for its foreign affairs that will use its financial capacities to ensure its dominance on the world stage.

As a result, Nordennavig will stay out of the conflict unless provoked.

In order to intercept Sapin's fighters in Area B7R, we sent the Rot, Grun, Gelb and Indigo squadrons to destroy Sapin's squadrons.

Akula sub damaged in attack by Urusian corvette, managed to escape gulf. Admiral Paetel described the situation -- "we are listing aft. We require wet dock to repair to full working condidtion.

Meanwhile, on Homeland front. Indus shipyards prepare for a lengthy conflict with Verusia. Just finishing up on construction of 3 new destroyers and 2 amphibous landing craft. Civilian population is starting to be conscripted into military service due to possible invasion. 20 corvettes with 10 patrol helicopters patrol southern straight of Valga for adanced warning of Verusian naval movements. (Ooc: can sapim check for me the position valga takes, I forgot) Indus manufactures a Verusian-Yuke split in Yuktobania universities calling Verusia Red Fascists and calling for boarder conflict with Verusia.

On the Valverdre front, things are proceeding as planned in for Indus. They managed to take the eastern seaboard and set up supply lanes streatching eastwards from Valverde to indus. (OOC: what is adamas position in all of this and is a player controling them?) thé forces have lost about 20% of ground forces in this conflict, 65 wheeled tanks are transpoerted to the forces. Sukoi fighters continue to use low altitude strikes against forces making the casulties being merely 8 planes, three of them crashing while landing due to accedent on makeshift runways.
Air wing Captain Alex Fururi comments - "It is evedent that low altitude strikes have reduced our casualties in comparison to conventional methods of attack, as a consequence increased number of accidents are occuring due to the nature and the skill required of such low altitude manuvers, landing on roadways to catch enemies by surprise is a very delicate trick to use."
