Speaking to a crowd of about 1500 people, Iyer has vowed to take South India back to it's former glory if he returns to power. He has also made it clear that developing the military would be his first and foremost priority.He said: "For long, we have been dependant on foreign powers for stability in our region. Our motherland is ravaged by terrorists and foreign invaders trying to claim the South India for themselves. A strong army is required to bring back stability to this region." He has also hinted that he may create another paramilitary force to fight off the radical Islamists.
