On March 22nd 2021 simultaneous elections were held to elect the national legislature (National Assembly) and local legislatures (Municipal Assemblies).
Pheu is a multi-party parliamentary republic with two major parties that can't form a government alone, thus the leader of the most voted party must try to hold talks with minor parties and then request the approval of the government formation to the President once a majority is formed.
