Before the war, support for ISIS was 5% and he Taliban 2.7%. Now, ISIS was popular with 41.2% and the Taliban 27.9%.

Videos from Ensopotamia show a unity festival where the various peoples of Ensopotamia together. They are dancing and there were fireworks and music. Rohilans Christians Muslims and Arads together as one celebrating.

The race away from Italy was well underway, when my drone discovered, that someone was laying down heavy, heavy fire towards Italy - it was coming from the Gulf of Lion, if my guesstimation was right.
As they were firing cruise missiles with reckless abandon, I would also guess, that they weren't friends of Insaanistan... what to do, what to do...?
I sighed.
Only one thing for it.
Transmitting first to the satellite, then to the drone, I transmitted towards the fleet west of Italy and south of France: "Attention, naval forces, this is SDFS Bruinneall, a vessel of the SDF-Navy. Who do I have the pleasure with and who are you shooting at?"
Well, if the reply came in the form of anti-ship missiles, I would be ready. The arrow on my sinew was intended to be used against aircraft or incoming missiles.

ON THE ROAD, CROATIA

The members of the 23rd and 12th Light Brigades had kept up a good pace throughout the entire trip, stopping off every now and again to do maintenance on vehicles or have the soldiers rest. Normally such a thing would be an issue for any country, but given that Lauzanne has cordial relationships with it's ex-Yugoslav cousins, such matters need not be worried about. Soldiers had gotten used to the routine; Hop on for a few hours, ride for another few hundred km, hop off for whatever reason and mingle around, sometimes with folk from towns nearby here to see the strange soldiers on their way to Italy. Once the rest was over, the soldiers all got back up and clambered on board once more. Some with a groan, others without.

The 23rd and the 12th were well on their way to Northern Italy, to free it from Maoist murderers.

AB-S-2 Lazure Air Base, Lazure Province

The LAF's new Grozas were ready for takeoff. Each one had an additional fuel tank, some air-air missiles, a targeting pod, ECM pod, and a handful of KAB-500L laser guided bombs. Their mission was simple: Bomb Maoist checkpoints on the border ahead of the arrival of the Army's Light Brigades. Each flight consisted of two Grozas loaded for bombing, the last one for reconnaissance to follow up the strikes to examine the damages from the air. Intelligence pointed out that the Maoist insurgents lacked air defences past MANPADS, and dropping bombs at altitude tended to outrange that.

Once the planes were airborne, they wasted no time exploiting their supercruise once they got to altitude. From Lazure AB, it would be an hour there and an hour back, well within their combat radius. Lieutenant 'Remi' Dupont looked down at the greenery below
"These countries all look so similar from up here..." She commented, starting to level out above the scattered clouds.
"Borders are just arbitrary most of the time anyways." Her wingman commented.
"Mhm, sure thing Volkov." She rolled her eyes, he always had such strange ideas.
"One hour to Italy. Maybe we should get the men on the ground to send us some wine?"
"French wine is better." Remi smirked, looking over at her wingman who tilted his head.

They were soon joined by other groups of aircraft in the sky, all intended to target checkpoints, outposts and weapons stocks...

Border of Italy, near Trieste.

It was a quiet day today, and the outpost wasn't much different. But when Ivanov's headset came to life, he quickly got on the laptop. It controlled the laser designator, as he swung it onto the target he activated the laser, painting the area to get bombed. There was a smattering of Maoists there, and it was looking to be a good hit.
"Sir, they're still milling about." His team's sniper pointed out, Ivanov nodding.
"Dumb assholes don't know what's coming."

"Oka, Oka, package on the way. Over." came in on his headset, and he smiled. Not a minute later, the sound of jet washed over the land, catching the Maoists attention, only to explode as the bomb hit dead on to their little tent.
"Good hit, good hit. Oka, Out." Ivanov replied, the team silently cheering. Soon after, they heard other, more distant explosions. Other teams, other roadblocks.

The liberation of Italy is on the horizon...

AB-S-2 Lazure Air Base, Lazure Province

After the Grozas took off, now it was the turn of the transports. Il-76 cargo planes were loaded with members of the 51st Airborne Battalion, the massive lumbering planes soaring into the sky as best as their engines could allow. Each one of them carried men, or a handful of A-Chassis airborne combat vehicles. Currently the LDF as a whole couldn't air-drop the entire Brigade, but given the current situation it was less of a concern. The massive Il-76's were escorted by EA-6B electronic warfare aircraft and flanked on either side by Su-27's for defence. Their trip would take two hours, time that the soldiers spent mentally preparing for the mission ahead. Bari was chosen as the landing zone, and no doubt the Reinkalistanis saw the LAF planes high in the sky when they received their message

Two hours later...

"HELMETS!" The order came, and the members of the 51st got their helmets on, fastening them tight. Headsets were activated, and they each checked their helmet to ensure it was tight.
"LINES!" The next order was shouted, as the men made their way to either one of the side doors. hooking their parachute line to the one that dangled at head level.
The lights were red, and then men could see the Italian coastline from here. Thankfully, they weren't being shot at... Yet.

The light turned greeen, the two Loadmasters shouting at the paratroopers
"JUMP! JUMP! JUMP!"
The elite Airborne soldiers stepped out of their planes without hesitation, the line opening up their parachutes as the massive Il-76's dispensed their cargo across the Italian countryside. Civilians and soldiers alike on the ground could see the display, some of them sending larger vehicles out of the rear. Hopefully the SWA saw their allies landing, and could come and greet them as soon as possible.

The 51st were ready to fight as soon as they hit the ground. Not too many of them were scattered off course, and they got to their vehicles promptly. Forming up in clearings outside the outskirts of Bari, ready for a fight from whatever Insaani resistance might be mounted.

This force had been stationed near Italy for a while now, with its bases located in the Mediterranean island nation of Lengen, south of the boot of Italy and north of Libya. It had been ordered to sortie and operate in the northern Tyrrhenian Sea and eastern Ligurian Sea when it became apparent the Maoists were more active than the Langenians would've liked.

The SDF transmission would be picked up by all vessels, but would be responded to by Vice Admiral Lorenzo Aguilar, commander of the flotilla, on the bridge of the command ship that was the flagship of both Support Group 6 and the 7th Flotilla. "Good day, SDFS Bruinneal. This is the 7th Flotilla of the Northern Fleet of the Langenian National Navy. Currently we are engaged in combat operations against the Maoist terror group in northern Italy. May we enquire your business and why you are contacting us?"

These commandos belonged to the Naval Reconnaissance Commandos (NRC), comparable to the famed Navy SEALs of the US Navy, and trained with the same missions. These particular troops were members of NRC Team 10 and Team 13. There objective was to collect intelligence on Maoist forces in the region and pass it back to the Langenian forward HQ in central Italy.

Meanwhile, in central Italy the Langenians had airlifted the 2nd Airborne Division of the National Army of Langenia into the country. Expeditionary Battle Group 4 of the 7th Flotilla offloaded 3 Marine Expeditionary Regiment at Anzio, while Expeditionary Battle Group 5 of the 8th Flotilla offloaded 4 Marine Expeditionary Regiment in eastern Italy. The 6th Air Army of the 4th Air Force had been moved from North Africa to Italy, and would also operate, like other Langenian assets in Italy, from the central part of the country.

These are the actions that brought a dark shadow over Stenope. This shadow nearly destroyed our world. This shadow can very well destroy Italy, Europe, and the planet of Earth. Tulo will not make any military action but will join The Jamesian Republic in helping with the effort by giving foreign aid. I ask the Muslims in our nation to continue their protests for justice, I want you to show that Tuloans of all races are together. I also call on Muslim nations across the world to join me and Jamesia in our aid. We must sew the seeds of peace. I implore to listen to me. Svetlana appeared before Jason and Nadia. “So you couldn’t find the girl.” She said. “We tried the sewers where she was last found. We also tried forcing people by hypnosis to tell us where the truck went but the trail ran cold.” Nadia explained. “Very well then. I suppose we will have to put our faith in someone else. Also next time you go to a city don’t shoot fireballs.” Svetlana said. “One man pushed me because they are angry at white people. When I am crossed people face punishment.” Nadia said. “I don’t care now rumors are flying around that there is a magic white lady flying around and unleashing fire. This is your warning next time you may face expulsion from the coven.” Svetlana said sternly. “Get out of Rome and certainly far away from Italy. Also Nadia we will have to work very hard to get people in Muslimbol to forget that a witch was there. Goodbye.” Svetlana said as she disappeared. Jason and Nadia both sighed.

Immediately, Mario ordered an entire prison he had filled with Muslim converts, Arabs and black people into a mosque. He the ordered his troops to smear the doorways and handles with pork and wine. They then set the building on fire and fired at it with RPGs, shooting the few who managed to escape.

The 7th and 9th Infantry Division, along with the 19th Mechanized infantry and 14th Armored Division to move out of the base in FLorence to liberate northern Tuscany from Maoist scum. General Rodriguez commanded the overall advance while Lieutenant General Perflux commanded the assault. Operating south of France, west of Italy was the 7th Flotilla of the Northern Fleet of the Langenian National Navy. The flotilla was formed of five parts, a carrier battle group centered around an Aguila-class carrier, an expeditionary battle group centered around an amphibious assault ship, a surface battle group centered around a guided missile cruiser, a submarine group centered around a submarine tender, and a support group centered around a command ship. This force had been stationed near Italy for a while now, with its bases located in the Mediterranean island nation of Lengen, south of the boot of Italy and north of Libya. It had been ordered to sortie and operate in the northern Tyrrhenian Sea and eastern Ligurian Sea when it became apparent the Maoists were more active than the Langenians would've liked.

The SDF transmission would be picked up by all vessels, but would be responded to by Vice Admiral Lorenzo Aguilar, commander of the flotilla, on the bridge of the command ship that was the flagship of both Support Group 6 and the 7th Flotilla.
