Obviously, the Allaneans do not expect the Rekkutomel to win. What they expect to occur is yet another tragedy, yet another fall, yet another series of drawn-out holding actions followed by a chain of brutal purges. The geography, the logistics, the demographics and the diplomacy are pushing against the Rekkutomel as an inexorable force.

Yet moral and political imperatives also call upon the Free Kingdom to become involved. Partly it is simply a sense of decency as the Allaneans see it – to refuse to let the Rekkutomel to go gentle into that good night. Partly it is the principle espoused by the Ministry of War as Cost Imposition Strategy – this time, in the writer's words, it has to cost them something. The People's Federation of South Reinkalistan is seen by the Allaneans as both an anticapitalist and a slaver force (the latter, due to its operation of a large-scale labor camp system).

As such the Ministry of War and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have worked together to create an Interministry Rekkutomel Task Force, intended to both impose additional costs on South Reinkalistan and provide assistance to Rekkutomel Monarchists. It is intended as multi-pronged approach:

1. Operation Pelican VIII – An attempt to airlift military equipment and medications to the rebels, and airlift civilian refugees to safety where needed.

2. Operation Fracture – An attempt to insert several PLU [Prison Liberation Units] to attempt to extract camp inmates from the Reinkalistani camp systems, and [as an additional goal] attempt to stage camp uprisings. Perhaps 150-300 operatives will be participating.

3. Operation Wyatt's Torch – An attempt to degrade Reinkalistani warfighting ability and economy by sabotaging key economic infrastructure and assassinating scientists and other key personnel. 100-500 operatives involved.

Moreover, the Ministry of War will be aiding private militias from Allanea in traveling to assist the rebels.

Yeltsin Death Brigades

The Yeltsin Death Brigades are an outfit of working-class, hardcore pro-demoracy / anti-Marxist arcology militias, known for their fondness of punk rock music, hard alcohol, and violence. Here they will be represented with a force of 500-1000 men. They'll be bringing their own uniforms, rifles, and some vehicles, but generally will be expecting to be supplied locally and/or by crowdfunding.

Ashtonbury Brigade

Named after the infamous monarchist mercenary William Ashtonbury (who has allegedly killed the international revolutionary icon, Marcus Rumbiak, in a duel while protecting the king of Iansisle before the fall of the monarchy in that country, the Ashtonbury Brigade also deploys a limited force. Because Ashtonbury Brigade volunteers are typically of a wealthier background than YDB volunteers, they are somewhat better armed, will have more vehicles and some crew-served weapons and items like night-vision scopes and the like.

TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PEOPLE'S FEDERATION OF REINKALISTAN

The people of Poland had for so long been oppressed by the horrific forces of reaction, and after the barbaric dismantlement of the Polish state in 1795 by the despicable coalition of the Russians, Austrians, and Prussians, that all worked to tear apart our great nation and reduce the memory of Poland into a footnote in history. And yet they failed. After hundreds of years of occupation by the coalition of reaction, after the foul imperialist experiment of the 2nd Polish Republic, and the vicious occupation of the Nazi regime, Poland stands free amongst a community of free nations, the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance, ready to defend the freedom of the world's working people from the evils of fascism and imperialism. Poland lends a hand to the righteous People's Federation of Reinkalistan against the foul oppressors and bandits that circle overhead, and hopes that friendship and victory may be brought about through the partnership of the two great nations. The Polish United Workers' Party aims to lend a hand to Comrade Turaniski in the struggle against banditry and oppression, in the spirit of maintaining socialist internationalism and defending the interests of the world working class. While the Soviet Union may no longer be with us, the Polish People's Republic and her ally, the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, will continue to fight in the name of working people across the world, and aid any and all willing to take the fight to the imperialists and their lackeys.

May the enemies of the world's working people be struck down, and the working class rise up to face any imperialists that would dare to threaten the new socialist order of peace and freedom that is rising on the Earth. With this in mind, we aim to support the People's Federation of Reinkalistan in any way we can, from armaments to force deployments in order to assist them in their struggle. We would be interested in hearing what the President has in mind, and are more than willing to provide diplomatic support if nothing else. Only when the world's working people see the reality of the struggle in Reinkalistan will they be roused in the struggle against imperialism and reaction that threatens the peace and happiness of all Reinkalistan currently. It is a pressing matter for the Polish People's Republic and all the world's peoples to see the utter victory of the People's Federation of Reinkalistan, and only when Reinkalistan has been united under the banner of peace and socialism can true freedom be achieved by the people of Reinkalistan. We greet Comrade Turaniski and the Reinkalistani Communist Party as fraternal brothers in the great struggle for freedom, and can only hope that after the war has concluded, that the People's Federation will join our community of free nations in order to continue the development of the People's Federation following the devastation that has been brought down upon it by the north-occupying troglodytes and their pathetic paper armies of wind-up soldiers.

The working peoples of the world must stand against any and all forms of aggression and reaction, for if they do not then the enemies of freedom and socialism will raise their banners above all the nations in the world and destroy the great community of people's democracies that stand against the capitalist aggressors. Therefore, Poland stands ready to aid Reinkalistan at any opportunity.
