NGL the fact these telepaths can communicate over such vast distances and do stuff like teleport and so on, I don’t think you should be using that willy nilly. And using stuff like telepathy to gain knowledge your characters otherwise shouldn’t have or be able to get, isn’t very fun IMO. Remember: “your ability to resolve problems with magic is directly proportional to how well reader understands said magic”. If you say “it’s just magic”, I don’t expect it to be used like a chain smoker’s lighter.

I'm gonna need to trawl and see who's fighting who and why, although I have a general idea.

From a neutral standpoint, it can be broken up like this:

• Insaanistan and ~5,000 insurgents from a faction within Gongsi (not the nation itself)
• Literally everybody else ("the Coalition") who wants to carve up Insaanistan to fill their appetite for Imperialism and obliterate the rest

Of worthy note, Insaanistan was working to correct its past mistakes (i.e. holding a conference on the fate of Insaani controlled Italy) and has literally done nothing wrong. Also, the terms of surrender being discussed by the Coalition are at best barbaric for any modern nation to push onto another. They say they want to kick Insaanistan from Europe, but then they throw in a bunch of clauses where they take everything and destroy Insaanistan with such gems as "not being able to have a police force". Or in other words:

Insaanistan: Tried to be good and is now fighting for its life
Everybody else: Greedy for Insaani wealth/territory and using "decolonization" as a façade, or just wanting to destroy Insaanistan "fortelulz"

And no, that's not directed at you Al-Musafakun. Your snake-ladies doing small things here and there is actually somewhat refreshing. If anything I commend you for not carpet bombing entire cities for the memes (not that you have the ability to, but still).

I personally, legitimately, that such a treaty is a bit overboard and ultimately would not make life better for anyone on the other side of the Mediterranean - if I was playing an MT state I’d ICly object to it. I agree with everything regarding Italy and Iberia in the demands, and of course the right to settle, extraterritoriality and so on for caliphal citizens, but the rest of it is hard to justify when looking at it in its entirety - besides the stuff I mentioned.

My issue was that it was bad writing, so I should’ve clarified that more.
