Occupation of Sharifistan (Closed and Over)

OOC: Wow. I was gone the whole day and it seems I missed a lot.

IC: Shockwaves shoot through command in Madrinpoor and the RRS. "This is our chance!" Martredi yells in a meeting with Nefes, and on July 1st (current date I guess cause a little while ago was june 10), 2021, the RRS declared itself fully independent. Parades erupt and RRS flags are waved, and Nefes becomes the new president. The Madri troops immediately prepare for war, because they have all been there ("I told you!" Martredi yells to Dorestovits). They propose a treaty with Communist Sharifistan, to protect from other forces. The Republican Army (of the RRS) mobilizes in part to protect, but also along the northern border, for a potential expansion of territory in this time of opportunity and crisis. Also, messages are sent to Romextly, to help with the RRS's expansion (they are democratic and relatively libertarian. And they can elect a libertarian president anyway.)

Romextly responds is it Left or Right Libertarian. But they do agree with a democratic Sharifistan

Currently, Öslem Nefes is moderately conservative. But that can change in three years at the next election.

You can't take advantage of Azad's ban to carve up his nation, which still exists as an RP entity separate from the fact his game nation has been deleted. Did Munkchester stop existing just because it was deleted? No, it didn't. Ashleigh is still alive and IC nothing has changed.

OOC: General conservative stuff. Lower taxes...I feel like a big military is kind of a must for the RRS now. He is also pretty socially conservative, but also surprisingly acceptive of LGBTQ+, especially for a conservative ruler in the middle east, which isn't known to be that acceptive. He is also a smaller-government type as well. Any particular issues you want his stance on?

Also it would be cool if turkey invaded to reclaim some territory. Should we RP that or no
