The Monolith after being pounded with MAC fire, nukes and plasma weaponry for 2 hours, deploys its ships before turning Saturn into a star, Seeing this the Alliance fleet warps back to Earth to discuss what just happened.

The Monolith after being pounded with MAC fire, nukes and plasma weaponry for 2 hours, deploys the rest of its ships before exploding sending large pieces of wreckage towards the Fleet destroying many fighters and disabling one heavy cruiser leaving the crew to scuttle the ship. More fighters were loss in the battle and One Heavy cruiser was also destroyed. However this small victory is cut short after probes in the orbit of Mars alert the fleet that 2 monoliths have entered the orbit of Mars and that they have begun an invasion of the planets surface, meaning that an invasion of Earth is near. The UPPERCUT and its escort fleet make a jump to Starfleet HQ to meet with their leaders and to discuss on there next course of action.

While Earth is being secured The UPPERCUT sends a message to Starfleet and the Minister of Defense of Piikala The Message states.....

We need to launch a counterattack on the Aliens to distract them from attacking Earth while the defenses are being prepared. If we can take out the majority of their fleet before they get to Earth, we won't have to evacuate Earth and spare the loss. The UPPERCUT will arrive at Starfleet HQ as soon as you reply.

At the same time, Piikalan Patrol Cutters(basically lightly weaponized Piikalan Frigates) in the outer asteroid belt are ordered to stay on patrol and not attack the enemies until ordered while providing refuge space miners in their patrol zones.

Amidst the chaos, the Lei-o-mano manages to escape the worse of the shock due to an alien ship's hull taking the brunt, with both stealth ships heading to the respective astroid motherships to recharge their batteries for their main weapons and access the data from their new weapon. With the Pele in tow by the Lei-o-Manos, two shuttles slowly drag the ship behind using wire tow straps.

UPPERCUTS escort fleet is destroyed in the blast, some fighters were able to escape due to their high speed. The UPPERCUT itself is severely damaged; hull integrity is at 50% with shields being offline among many other systems such and the MAC cannons and defense array. The surviving fighters dock with UPPERCUT and the onboard heavy cruisers power is diverted into the UPPERCUTS shields bringing them to 20% power. After making repairs to the slip space drive the UPPERCUT makes a jump to Reach for full repairs and a new escort fleet. Today is a big loss for the alliance.

The UPPERCUT after being in dry dock for a few days is back to full combat operations, its new escort fleet is made up by the new model of heavy cruiser which wasn't present in the first fleet. The new model now has advanced shields and a new MAC and defense system. The UPPERCUTS new objective is to patrol Earth and watch the monolith for any movement or aggression of Earth and her colonies.

After the destruction of the probes, it is planned to only study the atmosphere of Enceladus, as to not lose more scientific instruments. After studying the composition of the frame of the Alien ships it is discovered that they have self healing properties similar to nano particles, and that new advanced hand held weaponry could be made from the wreckage of the ships.

Using their stealth technology, they approach the planet avoiding the vessels of other nations, and start the surveying process by deploying several drones with built-in stealth technology to the planet armed with cameras and sensors.
