I want to point out that the Foreign Legion is responsible for having bases all over the world, and probably wouldn't need to use the Cossack airbase to fly in its supplies.

So where were the Bolslanians when the Kupferlands were being bombarded to shit? Or when insurgents literally rose up in the Richting Atoll and threw out most of the foreigners?

I kinda disagree that you suddenly own the only airfield in the Richting Atoll, despite when the FRCP & Co. indirectly control the islands.

As initially implied by Trenaka, there was really only one airbase on the Richting Atoll. The treaty gave the airbase to the island, who through defense treaties, basically lent it to us. What i originally thought of your posts of shipping supplies in was that you were just using the airfield-- which is understandable, and we'd likely allow relief supplies and civilian travel to come in (with our consent). But as the Richting Atoll, as stipulated by the treaty, gained access to all military sites, you'd need their consent to even get a military base (of which are in short supply in that small an island chain), and their "consent" is effectively owned by our bribes.

Palmyrion, I don't think the processes of PIEDSG are a public matter-- even so, I don't think they would paint their action as "anti-subversion"-- it'd likely be painted more of a security measure. If the issue was even being discussed at that moment, it wouldn't be open for all to see. In fact, I deliberately left the course of those laws vague so that Crysuko or Dernel, who make up the rest of the advisory board save for NPCs, could sign their agreement or refusal. The laws wouldn't come into effect until a tad bit after then.

Point taken. However, once a "security measure" law was created, wouldn't news of the new law spread like wildfire?

Also, Rear Admiral Fedelin being a well-seasoned admiral of the Palmyrian Navy would expect the PIEDSG to enact such laws considering the recent events: us sending a notSR-71 into the islands' airspace, and conducting commerce escort operations too uncomfortably close to the islands. His train of thought in general is, we just kicked the hornet's nest, what would the hornets do next?

I know i'm being slow to act here, but the implication is that the naval garrison has grown complacent, and needs to be shaken out of it's funk before doing anything serious. also, 3v1 would be a bit much.

Mainly waiting for Palmyrian to stop crying from entering into a 5v1, and write their post in response to it going from a 3v1, to a 5v1. I feel I may be jinxing it as the last war for these islands held a similar scenario, but its worth saying.
(last war was a 14v3, in which FRCP, Crysuko, and I beat 14 other nations for the islands we are currently dealing with. A few nations made jokes of our side getting dominated, but... well... you see how that went. Which is why i bring up the idea of jinxing it)

I have troops stationed at an airbase to protect the humanitarian aid aircraft. In terms of ROE they are mostly a security force to help defend the island should it come under attack. Same with naval vessels. About the specific situation with the airbase you and I still need to hash that out. If there is like some bribe fee that I need to pay or something lemme know

So, how would you know that it is in a state of sufficient chaos? You've never written that there are any troops there, and immigration is now banned. The smog from the refineries that may or may not have been purposefully messed up for the sake of causing issues with satellites.

No matter how much you try to insulate information to and fro the island, there will always be something that will leak out. The events of recent decades are a precedent for this.
