Lol, this will make conflict close to starting but not break out, just makes Langenia and Piikala pause. Plus we need to do the OAS summit.

Oh yeah! That's what I wanted to post! My diplomats arriving in Mexico City, and the operations of my intelligence in La Plata and Chile.

As his own continental nation or something else? Brazil? Langenia you seem to have a prior history with him.

Yes, but with all due respect to him I can't find decent rp samples from him.

I have even more history with him. And I tell you, he is definately not fit for this RP. Great guy, but his writing style leaves quite a lot to desire

While I do not challenge Langie's opinion regarding Z.Novia's participation in this RP. I must say that I myself come from humble beginnings. I started off with one liners, to paragraphs with context(<albeit not fleshed out). Lets just see what Z.Novia has to say before taking a final decision regarding his participation...

Once again, this is merely my opinion.

I'll do a small, introductory post for the OAS Summit in Mexico City. This will be a diplomatic showdown between the NAU and Langenia, but other American countries can have diplomats there as well.

Cool... Can the coup and the Summit coincide? The PM can be in Mexico City at the time of the coup, and will return to La Plata once the Central Defence District is secure from rebels...

Just posted the intro post, with the External Affairs Minister and then two days from the foreign ministers meeting it will be the heads of government meeting. Perhaps Dame Felicity and President Furia could meet with each other, Langie?

And, Bengal, this is your PM? For La Plata?

Piikala, I also have part of a post you can utilize, my External Affairs minister is having an impromptu press conference in the OAS Building Lobby. He brought up the diplomatic cable leaks and it has been at least a week since you got them.

Why not? A meeting between our heads of state is interesting.

Excellent, so here what I was proposing for the summit:
16th of February: arrivals
17th -- 21st: foreign ministers meetings
22nd -- 28th -- heads of government/state meeting (the Prime Minister will go as head of government, and Furia is both head of state and government)

In terms of posting, perhaps half a post is dedicated to summit discussions, and maybe a couple long posts of conversations between our foreign ministers and/or heads of government, which will culminate in a stalemate over the Ursula Affair.

Yes, the PM... The President will not be attending, and will be a victim to the coup...

I think the Piikalan reporter could maybe pull out some papers that he had faxed to him that could reveal some classified UBNA government document from the external affairs ministry that the External affairs minister might have read or have knowledge on? Also, I am thinking maybe at the summit; a Piikalan intelligence agent might accidentally bump into a Langneian worker carrying some papers during the conference, causing them to fall to the floor where the Piikalan intelligence agent would help pick them up and, in the process put some classified UBNA diplomatic cables into the pile?

So I just finished coming up with names for all the defense contractors of the Langenian military. Here they are:
-Langenia Aerospace Industries Corporation
-Langenia State Shipbuilding Corporation
-Langenia State Nuclear Corporation
-Flecha Motors
-Eriyan Defence Company
-Santiago Concern
-Aguilar
-Coronado
-Langenian Helicopters
-Aragon Institute of Thermal Technology
-Sistemas de Precision
-Langenia Missile Corporation
-Alfonso-Alvarez

So I had a thought. What if the NAU (in his next post) sanctioned the above companies and prohibited North American companies from maintaining shares in the companies, under the reason that they maintained links with the Langenian military?

I like that idea, Langie.

Also, the mods asked me to change my signature because it s too big. Thoughts since I changed it? I think it looks better.

Should the summit parallel something in real life or from a movie? Like Thirteen Days, where there was an OAS meeting about Soviet missiles in Cuba?

You've seen a lot of movies, haven't you? Hmm, let's do this movie-style, because I think the Caribbean issues are something that could be called a crisis.

Ok. I might have something up tonight but most likely tomorrow.

This seems kind of neat. I was wondering if I could join. While Vorausen is primarily in Scandinavia, one of its territories is in Greenland which is near North America.

Just asking, how would Greenland affect a conflict and problem mainly based around the Caribbean and South America?

Hello. Perhaps Vorausen would have extensive trade relations with the NAU and this crisis would jeopardize it.
