I'd rather my next post be about a little meeting on the coup plotters, and their reactions about the spycraft between La Plata and Langiestan

Nice post! I was wondering if Piikala could somehow end up investing in La Plata? Sort of like with China's one belt one road accept with Piikala. Where might Piikala create a tea plantation and buy land from the government to build a Piikalan naval installation, maybe? Sort of like what China is doing in Pakistan.

If the coup succeeds, the government will maintain the idea of not interfering in the free market.
And will endorse Pikala contributing to the security of La Plata (provided that the masters in Langenia do not raise any objections)

I thought Piikala would also intervene, maybe with a drone strike that might in the chaos of the conflict as Piikala hacks into the current government's computers and leaks the government's documents.

Hey, let's do a double drone strike!

Langie aid in the upcoming civil war would be enough. While the navy will support the coup, a chunk will head for the Falkland Islands and request for British aid, the air force isn't interested in a coup, but will go along with it for a while, expect 50% of it head to the country's interior, where they'll fight alongside the anti-coup pro govt faction of the military

Cool.

Also, in my next post I'm going to be setting up a Belt and Road-like program for Latin American countries. I'll let Chile and La Plata in once their pro-NAU governments are gone.

How do we feel about a nation desiring to have a peacekeeping mission in the American subcontinents, primarily between Langenia and the NAU? I received an application from a Poland-like nation wanting to broker peace in America.

Where will they deploy peacekeepers? In the Caribbean?

I think it would be alright just wouldn't end well for them... I also think that they would probably want to broaden what they're trying to achieve since there are multiple parties in the conflict who would probably ignore their actions and continue on shooting.

Possibly. I said he could make his case on the OOC but he hasn't said anything about details on the peacekeepers.

Agreed. He said he was neutral but we shall see if there would be more developments.

I also got a request from Kommunst but he hasn't responded in days.

I have also posted in the IC.

Was a very interesting post. Can we develop on Cellabos's character? We can say that he's the second in command in the Interior District, and his standing orders to those trustable enough down the chain, kill the District General if a coup comes, and aid the legitimate government form some degree of authority in the Interior District as well as a springing board into taking back the rest of "couped up" La Plata.

If Chile ends up on the NAU side, it'll help the Loyalists of the Interior District get equipment from the NAU since it the district shares and guards a part of the border with Chile. The "govt in exile" will be in Cordoba

The Navy won't be enthusiastic about the coup, but since the "coup'ers" control the coast, they'll go along with it. A part of it, the hardliner pro-govt faction, would mutiny and head for the Falklands, and may give the Commonwealth important information shared with the Navy, which includes plans for the invasion of the Falklands. As well as offer their services to the Royal Navy to fend off an invasion of the islands , and a old carrier will go along with them(< nothing good on it tho, reserve fighters from the 70s)
(The Belgrano will still be sunk.)

Polslovakia has, as of now, joined the conflict.

The aims and goals of the nation are as follows:

To observe the events of the Crisis.
To try and attempt to make peace between all parties.
When the Crisis is at its highest momentum, to join in as either a full participant or a nation leaning to both sides, dealing with all parties.

Officially, we shall stay neutral throughout the conflict, but that’s just it- officially.

I wholeheartedly welcome Polski guy into the group. While I understand he'll send peacekeepers, who will he aid from the shadows?

From the shadows? Both sides. I'm a double-dealer, but, as time goes one, someone will prevail and win our full support...

I'm thinking about making a post, basically one a few guys in the civil service debate out the possibilities of a coup, and their place in it...

I am thinking I'll be able to post make a post by Sunday that will RP the Piikalans preparing for their 'training exercise' by sending their massive reserve fleet for upgrades in dry docks across Piikala. RPing, the Piikalan Coast Guard cutter, will be sent to sail near UBC waters up across the North American coast.
