Bayinese troops have arrived on Richting's shore, landing on a relatively quiet and sleepy part of the atoll, a small island approx. 15 kilometers northeastern from the core island (capital). with the enemy battery already silenced by the covert operatives of the 41st infantry battalion, This island will be the base for Bayinese operation on the atoll. Bayinese soldiers, with the help of local villagers, begin the construction of a military airbase in the vicinity., planning to gain a wide range of air superiority against the enemy in the city.
Kolonel Bagas, commander of the 41st infantry battalion has managed to establish contact with Trenakan remnants on the core island. Gaining information from the capital while waiting for the airbase to be completed. Having no present enemy batteries on the core island, he plans to launch a full-scale offensive to achieve a quick victory against the enemy. While Komodor Chandra, commander of the 27th flotilla is tasked to provide naval support and bombardment during the offensive."Greetings, I am Komodor Chandra of the Royal Bayinese Navy. We have arrived on Richting Atoll with minimal resistance, we are currently building our base on a northeastern island, quite near the capital. My men and I are ready to storm the beaches of the core island, all the way to the capital city as soon as the construction is completed. We hope Bayi's attack on Richting will be a huge help for the allied forces."

Sadly, out of 11,000 promised, only 6,000 had arrived near the waters. 5,000 men are on board operating the HMS Harlech, the promised submarine."I assume we have received the memo of the key positions of all opposing forces?" Said a Commander Master Chief (abreviated to CMC) David Wicks. His lower ranks assured him that everyone on board had been briefed and the frigates will be arriving shortly to provide beach heads and supporting fire. "Good." He thought, he knew his men were the finest the Navy could ever wish for. Sadly he has no control over the marines, who take orders from General Karam Umberto. The marines have already planned on begin open fire upon the islands, however the suggestion had been rejected and debated between the two high-ups. A land invasion was plotted, and the frigates' thick front and side hulls would be used as cover for all allied forces, while the HMS Harlech watches from below, like a carrier underwater, the dreadnought of the deep. If they were to approach this with utmost care, they'd need to watch out for the Cossacks.

He pressed a button next to his ear.
"All Batteries cease fire.."
The Vanguards then ceased their bombardment of the island, their Gauss Gun Batteries halting immediately after.
He observed the numerous dark smoke pillars emerging from the island, he knows that nobody could practically survive that Naval Bombardment. And he assures himself because of it.
Norrington then looked to the Live-Imagery Feed from the screen, not a single movement of troops can be seen in the heavily bombarded areas.
"That should give our allies precious time to land their forces on the beachhead.....but im still concerned on what lies upon the beaches themselves..Anti-Tank Positions? , Machinegun Emplacements?, Mines?, Sea-Mines for Ships?...i have no clue as to what the enemy could've prepared..but i just hope the bombardment was enough.."
He sighed and looked at the screen, waiting for the others to begin the operation.

OOC: Also important to note that no weapons from WURCo. reached the Kupferlands in time. We seem to keep mixing these islands up. Both islands have been mined, but only the Richting Atoll receives steady supplies from WURCo. All WURCo. operatives (upwards of 600 individuals) are also concentrated on the Richting Atoll.
I think it's also not unreasonable to just state that the entire premise about mines and minesweepers was just Svenska metagaming. There was no giveaway that we had submarines in the area, no giveaway that we had mined anything, and since you guys were monitoring the surface (presumably) there's not even a chance that you could think that some fishing trawler of the rebels dropped mines. The entire point of mines is that you can't see them until you're too late, and you never know if they're there or not. So please, for common decency, as this is only reasonable and incredibly unfair since this is already 1v12, cast away all this nonsense unless you can find an actual reason. LIke, after you FIND the mines (presumably by running into them, as they're underwater stationeryplatforms), not just have a sixth sense that what your friend (who also meditates and is capable of astral projection and temporary omniscience) briefly told you is true.

The sonar almost immediately picked up the mines. However, Task Force Athena was not equipped with minesweepers and. the best they could do was shoot the mines with machine guns and have divers diffuse some. The mines were being diffused, but not at an acceptable rate. This. grave. logistical mistake was immediately called into base and a minesweeper began preparations to leave.

(OOC: Read above: mines. At least a large amount of your landers would have been destroyed by those mines, although your air power may be fine.
