The main reason I have done no attempt at invasion is that I want to ensure that I am thorough, and I can’t manage that in breaks between my classes at school.

for the most part, i've retconned *most* of the occentian ground units in the AO. all the conventional ground units mentioned in my ORBAT edits are stationed at the Singapore naval base, as that falls into the relevant theater command- occentian forces indochina. only forces engaged atm are naval forces, along with SF

280 VLS cells with SAM's is entirely plausible. look at factbooks for more info. the C-HGB is a representation of the IRL C-HGB. every characteristic described in my post is REAL, except for range, which I based off of the similar BrahMos II hypersonic missile from Russia. the deployment on a zumwalt-esque hull is plausible, given the diameter of the launch canisters (supposedly to be mounted on virginia-class SSN's, and the beam of the zumwalt. in essence, one AGS system was replaced by 12 C-HGB launchers.

I’m talking about hitting with giving me a chance to react to it. And Mach 17 in atmosphere is a ludicrous prospect. For an individual fixated on realism, this is eyeroll worthy. You don’t need to throw jargon at me either, I have google and Wikipedia too.

If you notice the pictures show it in mid to high atmosphere, thats likely where its mach 17, if it ever reaches those speeds, not through the entire flight. It is considerably easier to go near orbital speeds at near orbital heights. But there is no way in hell it goes mach 17 at sea-level without burning up.

If this is one movement and all the leadership is concentrated on the Kupferlands, which are surrounded and under much worse repair than the Richting Atoll, then it would make sense that the responsibility of leadership (as we've already ordered people around) would fall to the top dog and the only semblance of a command structure (WURCo. operatives).
