It was then adopted by Piikalan highspeed trains since it allowed them to be more stable in the mountainous terrain and also to be more stable in the event of mudslides and avalanches that would happen in the Piikalan alps where the trains were needed to constantly haul materials down into the valleys for the Piikalan war effort in the WWI and WWII. It was then adopted throughout the empire since that's what the Piikalans had so and stuck with and what had been proven to work. It also allowed the Piikalans to transport their ICBMS and rockets by rail, helping to lower costs of transporting equipment at the height of Piikalan-western tensions after its ally Imperial Japan's invasion and enemy USSR.

Well ZN doesn't use it. once you get to ZN's colony's there is train to all of ZN.
