Newark City
Gunfire is everywhere as rebel troops storm the city,and government loyalists fight as hard as they can,before a loud boom shocks the city,as the Gelpnir,blinded by decoys,fires its shock cannon,collapsing many buildings as a result,killing many,civilian,rebel,and Loyalist alike.
In the skies,XB-0 and Aigaion launch aircraft to send the Gelpnir to her doom,but multiple SWBM's send all the aircraft down.
By the 3rd day of battle,rebel forces were in full retreat,with XB-0 doing massive bombing runs on loyalist lines,while Agaion deploys her planes.
The Gelpnir would be battered by Allanean strikes,but kept flying,before withdrawing from the combat zone,the heavily battered rebels doing the same.

Civilian casualties:5,736,most of whom were slain by Gelpnir's attack.
Loyalist/Government casualties:30,625,most of whom were killed by Gelpnir's attack.
Rebel Casualties:50,783,Most killed by Gelpnir's attacks.

It would now be time for the Allaneans to strike as they knew best.

The dozens of aircraft in the air each fired their full load of AMRAAM missiles, and dozens of enormous, anti-air missiles were launched from each of the air defense cruisers. All had one target alone – the Gleipnir.

The tide of weaponry shrieked towards the enemy craft from every direction, like arrows cutting through the skies.

It began deploying as many flares as possible,trying to minimize damage,and minimised damage it did,as the 2nd attack would only score 10 or 20 hits,taking the retreating Gelpnir's remaining system's capabilities down massively.

All sides were headed out of the zone,except the slaving bastards,of course,but the rebel leaders had a plan. Plan COFA*. Every rebel leader knew what this ment.
The slavers were fortifying Newark City's ruins,readying for a second battle,soon to come.

(OOC:remeber that allusion to Overwatch characters being involved in the 2nd battle of Newark City? Well Plan COFA is where Overwatch will come into play in the final battle.)

This would not do at all. The fighters continued their pursuit of Gleipnir, but now they played a whole different role. As their pilots could still visually see the retreating craft, they radioed its positoin back to the fleet - and from there, the air defense cruisers came alive with smoke and fire. Over a hundred of the heavy anti-ballistic defense missiles were launched at the Gleipnir, proceeding on their satellite guidance until the last moment, switching on to radar guidance as they rose at supersonic speeds towards the giant enemy craft.

The Gelpnir would take massive damage,all weapons systems eliminated,as she flew to a undermined location for repairs. For now,she would be out of service.
Newark City,still under government control,was a hub of slaver activities before the war,now it was a ruined ghost town,with only miltary residing there. Above the city,a yellow glow would emit from the clouds,as government anti air begin firing,assuming it was a rebel jet. It wasn't. It wasn't a natural phenomenon either.



Aurelia has entered the war.
Diego Navorro was a priority target,primarily because he started the Aurelian-Leasath war in 2020,and he had fled.
Aurellian warships gathered on the Newarkian coast,as spec ops team began taking off from helicopter carriers,with Newarkian government subs closing in.
Navarro and the 'Leader' would hide underground as Aurelian spec ops searched for Navorro. The Aurelians would cover quite alot of ground,even taking some small towns from the Newarkian Government. Government forces would fight surprisingly well against the spec ops Aurelians.

(OOC:that golden light over Newark City is Mercy from Overwatch, just nobody on either side knows that yet.)
