The Majilis-Ash-Shura votes to hand people to the War Council of Sharifistan for the duration of the war. Sharifistan is now under a military junta and a highly skilled one at that.

The military junta reintroduces conscription, every male fit to serve between 18 and 30 (except conscientious objectors and those in reserved occupations) is liable to be called up from a draft lottery. Even University students are liable. 3.9% of the population has been called up meaning that 9.4% of the population is now in the military. Most of these people are ex-conscripts so do not need to be given basic training.

The 20 5th-gens would very quickly be picked up by the meter-wave radars, and a general alert sent to the squadrons surrounding Warsaw. Although the radars in question could not retrieve a good lock on the stealth fighters, they could retrieve general positional information, which was then forwarded to a responding group of 12 F-35As and 10 Gripens, the SAM units around Warsaw, and even a few ships whose missiles were in range.

The fighters in question immediately found themselves painted by a variety of radars, some from air-defense sites and aircraft, but many from a salvo of Meteor hypersonic BVR air-to-air missiles, SA-6 Gainfuls, and RIM-174 ERAM missiles. The declaration of war had sent the missile cruiser into a frenzy of activity. Abruptly, it found itself shifted from a peacetime to a wartime footing, and it had recently docked in Palermo for "special munitions". What those munitions were remained to be seen, but the sudden appearance of Abwehr paramilitary troops onboard suggested the presence of chemical or biological agents at best, and at worst, radiological and nuclear munitions.

The thought of doomsday had been a distant one for the many sailors of the Hood. Now, they had-potentially-been given the key to the ruination of all humanity.

It was not a pleasant thought, but alas. They had orders, and they would follow them without question.

Whilist the Hood was in Palemero, it had been joined by it's sister ships- Gdansk and Visby, at the head of a flotilla of ships consisting of the Tarawa-class assault ship ORP Jadwiga of Poland, and a smattering of destroyers and frigates, as well as Jadwiga of Poland's air wing, consisting of 35 medium-lift utility helicopters and 8 F-35B VTOL multirole 5th-gen aircraft.

Of these F-35Bs, 4 would take off and race for Kallipolis. Two were armed for air-to-ground operations, two for air-to-air. Upon reaching Kalliopolis, a pair of JSOW guided bombs would be released from high altitude, around 70 nautical miles out, targeted at the smoldering remains of Parliament and the City of Industry Palace. The planes would then race for home.

In the meantime, the flotilla began it's first salvo of many to come; around thirty or so Tomahawk cruise missiles slammed into, for the most part, power transformers, power plants, radar stations, and communications centers. This would hopefully plunge Sharifistan into blackout, rendering it unable to communicate or operate. Some would also attack various water-treatment plants.
