He sees Princess Nura as a possible asset for Madrinpoor, and has asked his top foreign policy experts for advice on how best to bend Nura into an ally. It also accuses Madrinpoor of backing Lazarus Rise saying that it didn't make an effort to fight or even condemn it. This article is highly controversial even in Hopal where people are saying that there is no hard evidence for this.

The government fiercely denies this claim and prepares a lawsuit against Martin Varinson and the Hopal Herald for misinformation and slander. They argue that the Herald and Varinson are trying to instigate protests in Madrinpoor, and that they are publishing stories completely retracted from reality. Due to the Herald's (probable) legitimacy, they cannot dismiss this as a conspiracy and demand the article be redacted.

It alleges that Sorya, a member of the Turk-Sharifistani-Pasthun cabal to install a "new world order" with them in charge and all others have to serve them or get their babies kidnapped. It says that Nura (do the people know of her powers?) is running the cabal and was using Sorya as a puppet, but after her scheme was uncovered she ousted her minion and took over the government herself. They say Nura is now working with Sharifistan to incorporate Insaanistan into Sharifistan and make the inhabitants of the area the leaders of Insaanistan with everyone else lower, working as slaves for them or having their babies stolen. They say that the only way to prevent this is for Sharifistan to lose the war and for the royals to be ousted, so they cannot finish their cabal's scheme. They claim that Madrinpoor and all the nations fighting Sharifistan are fighting against the cabal, and that loyal Insaanis must take up arms against them or against their government, which wants to conscript them into this war or steal their babies. They claim that one of Nura's opponents is imprisoned but sending messages secretly disguised as normal conversation so that nobody notices. They call her "U" and say she is trying to spread the word for Insaani patriots to rise up against the corrupt Turkish cabal. Like any good conspiracy, it is way too complicated.
