Police and National Guard have instituted a brutal crackdown on the rioters. Using CCTV camera footage, they have identified 41 so far and are close to identifying more. Rioters resisting have been met with brutal force, and at least one has been admitted into the hospital for a blow of a billy club by a National Guard member. Parliament has also passed the Insurrection Act, which denies arrested rioters awaiting trial bail, and if they are convicted legalizes the death penalty for those who are convicted of actively attacking police or trying to injure the president. It also institutes a curfew, and bans travel from the capital district to other areas, and bans travel from the North Island, which contains the capital, to anywhere else. New protests have broken out, but have been carefully watched. Tare Martredi has not been found.

Langenian airbase near Cairo, Egypt, Insaanistan

It had been a while since the last Langenian citizens were evacuated from Sharifistan by Langenian marines. Langenia, however, would return to the country, but not fighting for either side. This particular airbase, near the city of Cairo in the Egypt region of Insaanistan, had been controlled by the Langenians since they had captured it from Islamist rebels during the Insaani Civil War, and formally operated by them following the status of forces agreement with the Insaani government. Recently, one of the three wings based there had been rotated out back home. Following this security for the base had been tightened and increased, and locals could notice an unusually larger number of Langenian military police patrolling the base perimeter. This was due to the arrival of the Langenian Air Force's (LAF) 5th Strike Wing, one of few large units in the LAF to be completely equipped with stealth aircraft. For obvious reasons such valuable planes needed better security.

The deployment of such advanced combat aircraft to the Insaani nation would obviously draw the attention of the local press and circulate nationally across Insaanistan. As such, the Insaani media was fed the tale that the 5th was on a routine training rotation designed to improve interoperability between all units of the LAF with the Insaani Air Force. Nonetheless, there was another reason as to why they were really there. Due to the tight base security only rumors could come out of what the 5th had brought on their deployment: live air-launched cruise missiles, bunker-busting bombs, even air-launched ballistic missiles that could be wielded by the SSP.47/3R3 Blackheart stealth attack aircraft of the unit, but the latter was very unlikely, but the former wasn't.

One night at the base a specific type of plane arrived that the press would never know was there. A pair of BA-15 stealth strategic heavy bombers, comparable to the American B-2 or German H.XX, landed on the runway and proceeded to the hangars, clearly showing that the 5th was there for another purpose. Over the days the 5th Strike Wing started to carry out the regular "interoperability" operations with the Insaani Air Force, but also independently practicing long-range mock strikes on terrorist targets. The BA-15s would go by night to avoid being noticed, while the fighters of the 5th would go out by day as the Insaani people already knew they were there.

OOC: A while back Sharifistan said I could go and bomb al-Qaeda and ISIS, so I'm doing that now. Also, Madrinpoor was ok with me bombing LR as well. The C-42 is comparable to the YF-23 if it had beaten the F-22. One last thing: I'm too lazy to make up numbers for the squadrons of the 5th.

Insaani media had experienced a dry period as the Representatives were takin a very long time to bring forth shariā drafts. They went to town on what they painted as a sharp rise in Langenia militarism.
Some news broadcasts floated headlines such as “Is a Christian Revolt Underway?” and “Is Langenia Attempting to Attack From Within?”
Once again, Christians in Insaanistan are fearful: will the anger of their compatriots turn on them?

Due to this the president has increased his reward for Tare Martredi, to 65 million liberos. Some troops scheduled to be sent to Sharifistan are instead searching for the president's lost son. Madrinpoor is on edge.

Soraya doubled the reward for any Insaani who helps find Tare. Madrinpoor may be her enemy in this conflict, but they had no quarrel otherwise, and she wouldn’t sit back and allow a child to be kidnapped simply because of his father’s identity.
