Jehonathan Hasda drove a laundry van through the dark streets of Madinat al-Islam. He had a gun in the inside of his laundry apron, and laundry baskets with towels smeared in polonium. His eyes held a determined look, and his teeth held a cyanide capsule.

Nisanur Shatat wiped down the windows of the Penthouse suite in one of Madinat al-Islam's finest hotels, where Sultan Ed Ashleigh and his family were staying during George Fenwick's trial. He was disguised as a housekeeper. He was not a normal housekeeper however, and had just replaced Ashleigh's razors with ones coated in TTX, which would enter Ashleigh's skin as he shaved his face. If that failed, he had a knife in his suit...

Ioel Anaiah assembled a sniper rifle on the floor of a hotel room in Madinat al-Islam. It was just across the street from the grand courthouse where George Fenwick was to stand trial, and where Ed Ashleigh was supposed to exit the courthouse to get in his car. Anaiah would have to make the shot from far away, in a very small time window. But he was confident he could make it as he fixed the scope...

Asel Emine walked down the bridge that Ashleigh's caravan would drive through on the way from the courthouse. At this time of night there were just a couple of stray tourists, but come the trial...there would be much more death. He needed to memorize these streets. He needed to know how high he needed to jump off the bridge, how far away the car would be from where he would place the briefcase bomb...if he did not get it right their whole plan might fail. He didn't trust the others to do their jobs properly, so it might be up to him to do this all.
