Governess Weirhand wiped her brow, staring once more at the intelligence reports and maps. The seemingly forever problem of these damned nations that had blatant links to one another in the Middle East- first one under the Shang administration, another under the Rodriguez administration, and now Sharifistan under hers- needed to be stopped at some point. While she prided herself on maintaining a stable Federation and an Exodia content with the economic surplus it had achieved after surviving the recent events, she had to act. Violently and swiftly, as her training had taught her- and the only way to fight back for Exodia's allies with decreased chances of facing conflict in it of itself.
The Americans had perfected the technique, with scares in the past amongst the public that it might have been used against Exodia.

She looked at General Henlee, commander of the Exodian Air Force under her administration, from the top of her tablet and papers, before setting them down.
"Jack, I want those bastards crippled by tomorrow morning. Any means necessary besides the obvious don'ts."

"Yes, Miss Governess." The man with salt-and-pepper hair and summer dress grays, a former pilot himself, nodded, before leaving the Governess's study, as he ran his plan through his head as he walked the halls of the Chateau.

If everything went well his flyers would be back home for some decent base food in no time.

Cyrus Air Base

It must have been a sight to behold- 8 XF-45 Jericho 5.5-gen multirole heavy stealth fighters, 4 of the B strike variant for the central mission and 4 of the A fighter variant for their protection over Sharifistani skies- all taking off and prepping for flight across the Mediterranean. The As would be loaded primarily with a mix of Rafael Pythons as well as AIM-64 Eagle long-range BVR AAMs, while 2 of the Bs would be carrying a single (Israeli-imported copy) of the GBU-28 laser-guided bunker buster or an Exodian AGB-54 thermobaric munition in their weapons bays, alongside a pair of AGM-65 Mavericks on both to take out potential AAs or cause additional damage.

An EAF T-145 Long Arm tanker (a variant of the Rising Sun 654, itself an advanced and heavier development of the American Boeing 707) and its RF-8 Determinator escorts would be waiting over the western coast of Africa to aid in their travels, giving them enough fuel to carry out the mission and return home.

Germany, as a member of the CHALICE alliance, has decided to support the Polish-Prussian commonwealth against Sharifistan. As such, the Luftwaffe would be launching bomber-borne cruise missile attacks on the territory of Sharifistan. Coincidentally, this would be the debut of the Airbus FCAS 6Gen fighter, which would be armed with Meteor BVR missiles and IRIS-T short-ranged missiles. They would escort the bombers to and from their destination, and will be supported by a A380-based tanker.

The setting sun at their backs, the XF-45As broke off from the group to patrol the edges of the city and fulfill their end of the mission, while the XF-45Bs headed straight for their targets with deliberation and cold brutality- Helsing's craft, armed with an AGB-54 firebomb, flew towards the Majilis-Ash-Shura, while Tigre's airplane, prepping its weapons bay to reveal a GBU-28 bunker buster, took note of the location of City of Industry Palace. Daring with his GBU-28 and Banner with her AGB-54, respectively, targeted the Ministry of Defense and the Sharifistani Foreign Ministry.

On its way to Prussia-Poland, the disguised Sharifistani troop came to notice a strange presence within the sea. It began merely as a mild turbulence on the water, but before long, objects began to surface all around them, slowly closing in on their boats. Round, fleshy capsules drifted towards them, each one roughly the size of a large suitcase. They brushed up against the edges of the boats, and as the faux-refugees on board rapidly became unnerved and tried to push them back, they found the "skin" of the capsules hopelessly stuck to their vessels.

As they continued to push, prod, and cut away at the mysterious objects, something within them began to stir. Atop each capsule attached to the Sharifistani boats, an aperture peeled itself open within the adhesive hide, and a foul scent wafted out from the cavities within. The smell was soon followed by a low, coarse groan, then by gasps and screams as streams of thick, white fluid shot out from the capsules, carrying with them the force of bullets as they streaked past their targets.

Once the barrage subsided, the capsules began to quiver and move with renewed vigour, before the beings contained within them lurched out and boarded the vessels. Emerging from each one was a frightful, dwarf-like creature, leering at the Sharifistanis with their disfigured faces. Below their waist and dragging on the floor of the boats was a turgid, bloated appendage, almost as long as they were tall and covered in thick, knobby hide. Slowly, as their gazes were fixed upon their prey, the appendages rose into the air and swelled even further, and they lunged at the troop, foam bubbling out from their gaping maws.

As soon as the squadrons appeared on Chariot Flight's radar, a sort of controlled panic occurred as the 8 aircraft were notified of the much larger approaching force. Two launched their 4 AIM-64 long-range AAMs at first lock while all engaged with their electronic warfare suites, barrage-jamming Sharifistani communications and weapons radios as Plastic Love filled their comms and receivers as the planes themselves dove to a dangerously low altitude over the city.

Star Flight, holding aim for as long as possible, opened up their weapons bays and fired at their respective targets (Majilis-Ash-Shura building, City of Industry Palace, Sharifistani Ministry of Defense offices and Sharifistani Foreign Ministry offices), before flying low in a desperate attempt to evade their attackers, suddenly much lighter and quicker after the release of their primary bomb loads.

15,000 people died including Prince Khalid Suleiman Khan, his wife Princess Maryam Ali Khan, Lieutenant-General Ahmed Khalid Ali Muhammad Khan (the Minister of Defence) and most of the Sharifistani parliament as well as 500 soldiers, 90 police and 10 gendarmes. The rest were either low-level civilian government workers, innocent bystanders or the relatives of targets.
